The only "new" crewmate's opinion I have a hard time picturing is Samara's. It's easy to ascribe motherly aspects to her because that's a big part of her character, but then again she may not even care who you do.
I mean what you do.:innocent:

I  can see her saying something about attachment endangering your mission, a la Wynne.

To which I'd say, "You had your chance. Put up or shut up."

Considering that Liara has information about most of them because of SB's dossier's, dialogue between Liara and the crew might make for an interesting dynamic

OT, but Miranda's job as XO never feels very developed to me. I can see her giving orders to the crew, but not to any of the people I recruit. She tries it on Jack, of course, and gets it thrown back in her face. She also annoys me by coming down unjustly on Joker after the Collector attack. I guess she'd have a better chance to develop in this role if, say, Shepard were captured or incapacitated. Miranda's relationship with Shepard feels really underdeveloped as it is, there was a great potential there for some exposition into the Lazarus project and Shepard's transhumanism. But that's not for this thread. How can I spin this into something Liara related.

Uhhh... Oh the tiger striping on Liara's head thingies seems to be missing in LoTSB, I sorta miss that aspect of them.

Goodwood thinks you've got a point. Miranda certainly does a lot of work that would be consistent with the duties of an executive officer, but then that contrasts sharply with how Shepard herself performed as the XO of the original SSV Normandy, in addition to Anderson's role as exec aboard SSV Hastings twenty years prior. It seems to Goodwood that the job of XO on Alliance frigates (as opposed to larger warships like cruisers, carriers, and dreadnoughts) is to lead ground expeditions in addition to any personnel matters since frigates have fairly small crew complements.

I did the Kelly romance once just to see what it was like and felt like I needed to take a shower afterwards, especially as I was remaining true to Liara!  The invite Kelly up to your cabin option is still there after you re-romance Liara. Haven't dared to try it again though...

****. That's bad. What's worse is that that's the one Liara doesn't know about, and is considered the fling romance. Normally, if you get a ME2 romance, that kills that option. But I guess when it comes to Liara, the option stays...

Yeah, I keep thinking surely the Kelly thing is going to be referenced at least once by Liara in ME3.  Well, if you have romanced her anyway.

Thanks for LotSB, BioWare.

This is exactly how I hoped that ME 2 as a whole would have been. And of course Liara's role in it. Well, almost. I would still prefer if the whole story would have been different from the beginning, without Shepard and Liara ever being separated for so long and for these reasons, and therefore without any reason for Liara to search the SB, but since that's the story that ME 2 began, I don't think LotSB could have been any better than it is now.
