That's quite a dress. It looks good.

Agreed, the nice thing about white is that it goes well with blue :)

It's her 109th? Then as is tradition in my household, I offer a gift of a 55 year old bottle of Scotch. When reaching a noteworthy age, we get a bottle that is half as old as the celebrating party, signifying your increasing age (the age of the bottle increases with each birthday) while also acknowledging your youthful inner person (it's only half as old as you).

Cheers! :wizard:

The pic is not yet ready but hey its her Birthday.

So party hard Liara...or quiet, what she probably would enjoy more :)

Nice work, Iglo! The drapery is amazing and Kasumi is definitely the highlight for the piece. Liara looks good too, but Kasumi is the most well done.

Do not do the Blaphemy!!!!! I have a hard enough time not burning Feron, Miranda, and the Illusive Man at the stake!

I don't share what seems to be the common hate for Feron but I do find it hard to share Liara's grief over him when he has to be absent for most of the story. He could be fleshed out in a flashback DLC (a la Lelianna's Song) where you play as Liara to find Shepard's body. Hopefully LotSB sold like mad so they'll think about it at some point. :)

To tell the truth, I was very worry about this would happen @ my first playthrough of LotSB. (And I have the comic and know about Feron in advance) Thank god it turns out to be the best moment in ME2~ :)

Part of me wishes that it did happen that way. It would have created an interesting scene for all involved parties.

drwells - could you please mention the name of the DA artist when you post their work here? That is assuming that you're not EyesOnTheMoon

I thought of something today and if the birthday Liara's gift  in game was that Liara meets Aathyta  on Illium (meeting organized by shepard) because without denial  by BioWare, Aathyta is the dad of Liara

Here's hoping the Devs actually do that in ME3.

Again, I'll have to say that I don't think that Liara's parentage is that important. Aside from the mention in ME1, there is no parenting angst for Liara's character and I think she dealt with it a long time ago. Why open old wounds? And besides, I have a hunch that the Shadow Broker video was a way to brush that particular issue under the table.

I think Liara's parentage could have impact on her particular story arc at least in terms of closure to what Liara expressed in ME1. I don't think Liara's character will suffer irreparable harm should she not meet her father but I wonder why the issue was brought up in the first place unless BW had some direction in mind.
I think Liara's father has some role to play in ME3 that is Liara related, not sure what but I suspect it's something.
An introduction by Shepard for her birthday might be a very heartfelt gesture and would not need to be 'opening old wounds' as much as establishing connectedness and perhaps more.

Shepard: "Now that we're in ME3, I'll let you meet your Father on some conditions."

Liara: "What are they?! Anything!!?!"

Shepard: "#1: No massive character changes that need DLC to fix. #2: You are not to be reduced to a cameo role. #3: You will be a viable romance option from the first hour of gameplay, not months down the road. #4: NO TERMINAL HACKING!"

Liara: (sighs) You're never going to let me live that down. Fine, but on three conditions. 1. You paint the Normandy blue again. 2. You tell me beforehand when you're going to become a Krogan's surrogate parent and 3. You give me those back massages I like.

Shepard: I request biotic banging every night.

Liara: Not when I'm still sore or when your pelvis is broken like last time.

Shepard: Deal.

Liara: Oh, and tell Legion you're in a committed relationship.
