Feron is pillaging the databases while Liara is talking to the android Shadow Broker.  Since we're assuming that Feron doesn't make it away, it stands to reason that he passes the information to Liara.  How much information did Feron take?  Does the Shadow Broker know exactly what was taken?  I don't know.  If the Shadow Broker doesn't know and he had stuff in there he doesn't want to be known, he'd have to play the wait and see game until he could find out.

Hm but wouldnt he notice something is missing,no matter what and would want every person out of the way that could hold it at once, before they could do anything with it?

Yeah Benezia is one of the many holes ME2 has,her death should be wildely known, but if they dont give out any details that would raise a bunch of questions too,as to why she was killed.

Simply stating that Matriarch Benezia died in the lab accident on Peak 13 would work.  Noveria is corporate owned to begin with, and each research facility is another layer of isolation on top of that.  Hell, people dying in lab accidents has to be a pretty common cause of death in the Mass Effect universeImage IPB

The Council could just shrug and say that they don't know what she was doing there, that Noveria is corporate owned.  And Noveria was less than cooperative with a Spectre on what was going on there.  Anyone that did know would work for a corporation, and letting it be known that they brought back the rachni to try and weaponize them into super soldiers for Saren probably wouldn't be good for stock prices.

and i do think Miranda will have more to do with the story with regard to the Liara DLC, presuming it's post game, she will probably tell Shep all the gruesome details before Shep even contacts Liara. Though as Miranda has the potential to die (hard as it may be) this may not be the case.

Also... Liara might be part of the reason that Miranda didn't get her way by inserting a control chip in his head. Who better to learn what a man is really like, morally and such than the woman who has been sleeping with him for the last month and in love with him for longer. Given TIM's penchant for using people... I can see him using this against her as well in some way.

Not to mention if you have her loyalty and take her on the final mission she basically tells TIM to shove it where the sun don't shine. I can see her playing a large role in ME3 or other DLC content or Expansion and also becoming friends with Liara as they are the two women who know shepard betetr than any in the universe. One as a lover and bondmate and the other as a friend and trusted ally. A trusted friend that Miranda did not have before Shepard.

That whole controlship thing was weird to begin with, exspecially shepards reactions again to miranda stating it,but at least the game plays a bit with the idea of shepard being controled by Cerberus in some way in the ash/kaiden encounter or with the council and anderson.

Oooh, yes, never thought of this before. This may have been the final part of the deal. Cerberus wanting to put a control chip into Shep, thereby nulling any feelings Shep had for Liara in the process. Liara, learning of this finally agreeing to take a step back...this makes a lot of sense

I have nothing against telling TIM to shove it in general, but Miranda came a bit out of nowhere its not like you could seed doubts about Cerberus agenda into her,at least not in the friendship part, didnt play the romance so far.
As for large role in ME3 well there is always the fact that she could be dead so I wouldnt expect that much, but some interaction between Liara and Miranda would be nice, since they are actually supossed to know each other.

I like that theory that TIM also used the threat of a control chip to manipulate Liara. God, if any of this turns out to be true then my sympathy and love for Liara will increase even further, and hatred for TIM will be pretty intense. I can't wait until the last issue of Redemption now, I really want to know what's happening with Liara in ME2, because seems to be as it looks.

what kind of dress would Liara have as weddingdress?

I imagine a nice, long flowing gown, with greens and whites prominent as they seem to be Liara's signature colours. I imagine it being quite sensual and sexy, but not too revealing as that doesn't suit Liara's personality.

Besides everything else, I still can't believe you aren't able to talk to Kasumi. I thought in Zaeed's case it was simply due to him not being finished by release, so they later threw together what they had and gave it out for free. Nothing wrong with that, apart from the terrible decision in the first place to rush the game out. But now they do the same lazy job with a paid DLC. Just imagine a Liara DLC where she does stand around in the captain's cabin (after two shooting levels), but you can't actually talk to her. <_<

That'd be awful, but as I've said before Liara's story and her role is such a huge part of the trilogy, and the emotional motivation for it mean that they can't realistically hold back on deep and emotive conversation with Liara. It wouldn't feel right, not from Shep or Liara. We all know that Liara briefly opens her heart to you in ME2, but everyone is massively exasperated at Shepard's (lack of) reaction to her. I don't think they'd do that again, Liara's DLC needs to be very deep and emotive, with lots of dialogue. Especially if she is your LI.

Dont get to exited, It will not be very good.
I havent drawn in years and even then I was only mediocre. Image IPB

But back to the dress, shall it be big and heavy or light and snugged or something in between?

It doesnt feel right to have her in a princess-style gown or a medievel one...

Actually... there are quite a few parts throughout the game where you can detect an inflection of sorts in her voice that shows doubt about what she is discovering. At least I took them that way, the biggest being on the Collector Ship when you find out it was a trap and TIM knew about it.

It's something Casey said yesterday in an interview with Destructoid about the Kasumi DLC. I think we're just desperately clutching at straws with the Liara DLC. :P

A nice dress but not sensuel enough i think...  or "in the future" enough

Hmm, maybe the dress has Liara's back exposed, with straps criss-crossing to hold it together? Perhaps she could have something like arm-warmers from her wrists to her shoulders?

Oh fair enough. Sorry to burst everyone's happy bubble but the 'feeling blue' part could just mean about Thane's disease or cold.
