Haha, it never occurred to me before that during that scene on the bridge Liara was naked in your bed just 5 minutes before that. I do love how assertive she is in that scene, trying to give everyone hope. Love Liara!

I haven't been following the Kasumi stuff beyond those initial articles that came out the other day. Pretty much totally lost interest after reading about the omni-tool backstab power. Fairly certain that in a gunfight sneaking around and standing behind a target that everyone else is shooting at with futuristic automatic weapons isn't really the most constructive or sensible use of one's time.
I don't really have any interest in another generic B-list squadmate either. So the only thing that would be of interest to me is any extra stuff that came along with it. And even that interest would be minimal, replaying the game just to stand around in the Normandy in a dress or something isn't exactly a lot of motivation to spend that money.
I do hope there is more DLC announced soon, just not "more of the same" DLC.

Indeed, I think we're all hanging on BW's every word, waiting for a certain DLC to be announced soon.
I'm pretty confident that Liara's DLC will be significantly more substantial than Zaeed and Kasumi.

Indeed. I'd be pretty happy to see LDLC announced.
But BW should take enough time to make a high quality DLC, with conversation, emotions, story, action, ...
As long as it's more than just the same, i'd be glad. I am willing to pay for that quality.
But we still have to wait and see.

Yeah -- I'm doing a replay, not just for more Liara awesomeness but to get a better carryover to ME2 -- and I keep picking the key Liara dialogue choices this time around. "She's with me, thanks," and all that. (I'm even playing a biotic for the sole purpose of mentally RPing working on my biotic skills with her.) And I'm seeing cues and nods from her animations that I've been missing for years now, because I'm looking for them so closely.

I know, it's so awesome when you play through it again and you notice little details about Liara that you missed first time. I absolutely love how Liara looks around at Shepard when you tell the krogan that she's staying with you, it's like she's already starting to get smitten with Shep.
Yep, my FemShep is an adept too. I like the idea of the pair of them being a biotic duo. It's sweet!

Oooo, nice pics Asheer! I like the second Liara one, when she's looking around as the ruin starts to collapse. I love how she says "I still do not understand. Why would the geth come after me? Do you think Benezia is involved somehow?" and the look of confusion in her face is co cute. Thanks for the screenshots!

The facial movements are definitely another great thing about Liara, it is great to see her smile again.

I didn't expect the Kasumi to vary from the other squadmates for a loyalty mission, they are all shoot-em up missions.
The Liara Expansion would be completely different from squadmate DLC though, BW actually has to put some thought behind it as it could very well continue ME2 to the start of ME3.
The story can pretty much write itself once you get going, BW knows that the Liara storyline needs to have emotions and romance or it doesn't make any sense.
Even the comic book series is built around Liara's love for Shep, without emotions there would be no story in the first place.

I can't see how they could realistically do it without Liara opening up and admitting her guilt and sorrow. And we'll be there for her to comfort her.

I don't know which facepalm of hers I prefer, the one where she gets embarrassed when she realises Shep is joking, or the one after Joker interrupts the kiss between Liara and Shep. Both of them are amazingly cute!!
God I can't wait until we can continue the romance, or just at least talk to Liara in some way. It's amazing how much I missed her in ME2, and how much she was on my mind.

For us Liara fans, the DLC could be just what we need to enjoy ME2! If we get to spend time with her, and we get deep, emotional and exclusive dialogue or scenes for those of us that romanced her, then I'll be happy. Can't wait for more Liara!

i disagree. As much as Liara is my favorite character I think Tali cares deeply for Shephard-- in both male and female versions. When playing as a fem shep you get extra dialogue as well that isn't romance related. Tali unquestioningly supports Shephard.General Stubbs wrote...

I wouldn't know with Garrus. When I played with my DudeShep, he said two things to me before he was then constantly busy with his calibrations. :/
I do think however that the events of Redemption and Liara's actions cast a somewhat negative light over the rest of the ME1 squad, in that she was the only one of them who never gave up on Shepard and put her safety at risk in order to find him/her. It's touching.

Yeah, neither was I. :-) I was just saying that Liara's actions reflect somewhat negatively on the rest of the ME1 squad, as she's the only one who never gave up on Shepard.
I agree that Liara's not the only character who obviously cares for Shep. But she does care ALOT.

I agree with this, except one fatal flaw. You are assuming that BioWare's decisions will be based on good narrative and character development "logic." Whereas there is every possibility that decisions will be based purely on economics and simplicity. Its more cost effective to release 90 minutes of content for $7, bringing in as few voice actors as possible, and writing as little dialogue as you can get away with.
So far the ME team is trending towards the later.
