Yeah, I really hope that they add a little something for her if she was your LI, not just those subtle hints like they did for your reunion with her.LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...
I think they will do, there may also be additional scenes if Liara is your LI. Hopefully, something like the cabin scene I've described, that'd be extremely heartwarming and moving.

I to was looking for some way to tell Liara that I missed her, still loved her and always will. It her or no one!
And the kiss was sweet, but without passion...
I wanted to snuggle her up real good, tell everyone to leave rhe room and show her just how mutch I had missed her... I meen, they have bean apart for 2 years!

Yeah, I just try to ignore the Kasumi/Zaeed part of what he is talking about.
Obviously, the Liara Expansion will not be anything close to that. It is actually impossible for it to be anything else then the 15+ hour Expansion that we want.
No matter what, Zaeed/Kasumi had to follow the preset plan that all of the other squadmates follow.
I didn't think Kasumi was going to be much better than Zaeed.
I actually think his comments can be read as a good thing, to me, they are a confirmation of the Liara Expansion.
Well in my opinion, you're right that it has to be as comprehensive as you say... though part of me thinks that they could well split it up into episodes, I can't personally expect less than a Harry Potter's Director's Cut worth of material, if only because they have to elaborate on the comic's information. (HPDC, in my guesstimate, would likely be five hours. Yeah, I'm using what Order of the Phoenix probably should've been as my guide.
The thing is, I want to make this clear, just in case any dev is reading this thread at four ... check that, adjusting time zones ... two in the morning, and I think this could well be the consensus, but it's definitely my personal take. As much as we'd love to have fifteen hours of material right after the comics end, or shortly thereafter, if it's just a two mission pack, please come up with some more material before you release it? We'll be far more happy with a medium wait for ten hours than we would be for a tiny wait for a tiny DLC... though if it's a tiny DLC that'll manage to be Cerberus Network material, feel free to release it as is, just remember we'll want more later. (Oh, and you need to have one hour of content for every hundred Live points I'm going to pay for it. That seems like a fair ratio in my book. Again, I'll spend the money if it matches up, and I'll wait for it if I need to. Sincerely, hugs and

What bugs me is that the lines at the reunion on Illium are the same regardless if she is your LI or not...

Yeah, the only differences were some smiling and little hints here and there.
I didnt really notice the difference in the runs I did with Liara as my LI and the ones where she wasnt until I payed close attention.

I think they could have also done the conversation where she talks about giving your body to Cerberus better if she was your LI too.LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...
If Liara's smiles etc weren't so subtle if she was your LI, then I think it could have been quite effective in changing the overall tone of the reunion, that of Liara's holding back her emotions but if she was your LI she can't help but smile and be a bit warmer to you. So sad how she's forced to hold back her emotions out of fear that her lover will hate her.
It is exactly the same regardless of whether or not she was your LI. Except for a little added emotion I believe.
It would have even been nice if that conversation was just exclusive to people that romanced Liara.

I'm pretty sure that ratio would be around 1.25 per hour of content...which you will not get any where. That's way too much to expect.JaylaClark wrote...

And ten to fifteen hours is highly recommended, especially if they get Ash/Kaidan involved at some point, which in my opinion is also recommended, except if they can't get Kim and Rafael into the studio.

It would have even been nice if that conversation was just exclusive to people that romanced Liara.
Or at least if they would have added a line or two more. Or an extra kiss. And maybe a caress. Perhaps a slight shove on the desk. Some undressing, maybe. And-
Well, you get the picture.

Been thinking about this and I agree, they could have added something to that conversation for those of us that romanced Liara.
Keep what she says already, as the implication is that Liara loves Shep regardless of reciprocation and fits with her motivation of doing it out of love, but maybe add some more lines to the conversation such as Liara saying "What we experienced together, how close I was to you, I could never just accept that you had died. The night before Ilos meant to much to me, you mean so much to me, Shepard" Something to acknowledge the difference.

Yeah, but that would necessitate Bioware giving a damn about Liara and her fans.
Ouch... that was super-duper negative, wasn't it? Uhhhh.... uhhhh........

Nice rescue. :innocent:
Honestly, I think Liara is one of Biowares favourites. She's even got her own comic and all.

Yup, the fact that she got a comic is about the only thing that makes me think BioWare does give a crap about her.

Damn right.... I'm in a pessimistic mood today. I'm still not convinced that they care one way or the other.
They could stick the screws to us again in two years.

That Liara DLC will never be released! Never, I say! All the evidence we have only points out that it was dropped from the initial release then forgotten.

You're getting the hang of it.
I just think I've been around these forums for too long...they depress me.
