The image used in the top right of that composition, I love her sexy strut over to Shep during the romance scene.

Yeah, I love it when she walks over to Shep like that in the romance scene. <3
I believe the romance scene is perfect (I have never seen the other ones, lol) it shows how much Shep and Liara love each other.
I completely love it when Liara's eyes go black! <3:wub:

I think the group holding Liara back from expressing herself to Shepard is the same group that is controlling and manipulating Shepard to not express themselves in that scene. Bioware.

Me too.  I'm not willing to give them the benefit of the doubt based on a shake of the head and a line of dialogue that warns us not to speak.

I saw Ashleys, its about 3 times shorter then Liaras.

Terrible, it starts same then cuts to the end. Nothing like Liara's was.

The way Liara acts in ME2 leads me to believe that there's a very good chance that Liara is being manipulated by a third party, and being forced not to fraternize with Shep. Once Liara learns that she should not fear that Shep will hate her for handing the corpse to Cerberus, she should open up somewhat. It doesn't make sense, something must be holding her back.

I believe that is exactly the direction BioWare is going in.
Going in that direction is also a good thing, it will give BioWare a chance to include all parties (Cerberus, SB, Liara and Shep, etc) and will alow them to create a major 15+ hour Expansion instead of a 90min DLC.

If they made a big 15 hour dlc with all that and Liara Id lock myself up in my room and not comeout until I completed it at least two times.

You and me both.
I would play all of ME2 just to get to the Liara Expansion each time.
The Liara Expansion is definitely going to make ME2 a great experience for me

It was just my speculation, I don't know. Most of what we're saying is all completely academic until Redemption is complete and the Liara DLC is released. As unfortunate and frustrating it is that we have to wait for DLC to get her full ME2 role and interaction, BioWare are not going to spoil one of their stories in Redemption. If Liara's DLC mission involves her facing her demons and letting all her emotions out about Shep and her guilt and emotional torment, then it needs to feel unfinished in the vanilla game as it'd feel unnatural to comfort her and help her get over it, and then go off on the mission anyway.

Even if she still cant come with you for whatever reason, and still stays on Illium, as long as they do go deeper into the romance plot with her Id be quite happy.

It's been said before, but not for a while now. So it stands to be said again:

Liara surviving the events of Mass Effects one and two just so that she will be there to sacrifice herself in order to save Shepard and stop the Reapers in Mass Effect 3 = Worst. Idea. Evar.

Yeah, the Expansion has to be done after the main story is finished, there is no doubt about that.

From all the facts we have and the logical events that have been setup by BioWare, I have no idea why they would setup an deep, emotional Liara/SB story if they were not going to follow through on it.
I mean, looking at the game and all of the plot holes, they can all easily be filled in the Liara Expansion.
From what I can see, the Liara Expansion is the one Expansion that could include all organizations and people.

It wouldn't surprise me if the characters that are guaranteed to survive until ME3 may die in the game.

That's not just Liara, we're also talking TIM, Anderson, Udina, Joker etc.

Just as long as there's absolutely no chance that Liara will die in my import. I'd actually restart ME3 and find out what decision I made wrong if that ever happened.

And it seems that Bioware is putting a lot of emphasis and focus on these dlcs, so Im sure they have big plans for many of them, Liara's of course included.

I agree, I would think the possiblity might be there for her to die, but it would be the weirdest decision ever to single her out as the only character who has to die.

I am assuming almost everyone can die in ME3 if you didn't make the right choices in ME2 and ME3.

My Shep will never let her Blue Goddess die.

Yeah, I did actually read that as soon as ME2 was finished, the majority of the dev team immediately moved onto ME2 DLC and Expansions.
That is another reason I believe the Liara Expansion will be very well made, it is not like five guys worked on it.

I am assuming ME2 was finished around six months before it came out and they only had some of the team making any necessary corrections while the rest on them moved onto DLC and Expansion and such.

By now, they should be doing the same thing with ME3 and have some people make any necessary changes to ME2 DLC and Expansions.

I doubt that she could die in her DLC because BW said they wanted  Liara/Ash/Kaidan to survive ME2 to continue with them (at least as LI) in ME3. And BW definitly wouldn't waste the potential of the story and the Charakter to continue in ME3, would they?

Maybe Shep has to save his blue goddess from the Shadow Broker and it's agents and they can reunite after that. I kinda like the thought.

I'd actually prefer it if Liara accompanied you on a mission against the SB, rather than her being captured and you rescuing her. I'd prefer it if she's with you throughout the mission, confronting her demons and emotional torment head on as it gives more chance of Shep and Liara having emotional dialogue about it, something not possible if you just rescued Liara. The potential for deep emotional moments is far greater if Liara is with Shep, as they both finish this personal quest together.

After the mission, we then get the additional scene in Shep's cabin if she is your LI.

Not me. I don't want to get closure with her... get back together and be happy and have to go back to Illum to see her all the time. I want her with me!!!! Next to me!!!

Besides... from what I've seen... aside from the Biotic freak Jack... and assuming Samara does not return... Liara's biotics are the most advanced and most powerful I've seen from any character.

Yeah, it would definitely be impossible for Liara to die in her own Expansion.
I was thinking the ending of ME3 might have everyone or no one die depending on what you did.
Of course there would be the actual ending after that, but the last battle may have everyone or no one die if you did or did not make the right decisions.

Yeah, I believe Liara is going to be a temporary squad member for the Expansion.

I still wonder if she would stay on the Normandy in Shep's quarters after the Expansion.
It would make sense, although BioWare might have her go back to Illium to finish up some stuff before ME3.

I strongly hope she stays with Shep after the Expansion is over, but I don't know how BioWare wants to start ME3 off.
They might want to save her for a recruiting mission in ME3, but then again, she as absolutely no reason to stay on Illium after the Expansion is done.

She could easily stay on the Normandy and be an immediate squadmate for ME3.

But yes, of course Id want her with me on the Normandy as well. Push a crewmate out the airlock and have her take their place.

Wise spoken you have but clouded the future is and hard to predict Liara's fate too...
Hopefully remain on the Light Side she will and what was separated together again one day will be.
