Yeah, I can see that happening with Liara's character development, Srslydude, but I can see it happening more over the course of ME3 rather than the Liara DLC. Sure, I think we'll be able to comfort and console Liara in her DLC, and there will be emotional conversation, but I don't think we'll be able to shift her views, like you could with Ashley and Kaidan in ME1, until ME3.

Done. It was pretty unanimous when I just voted, 100% said yes. Albeit there were only 9 votes, but still...

My Shepards would usually kill the Rachni Queen as a precaution. But you pretty much have to take Liara along to Noveria, so I always end up releasing the Queen too. It's funny if you think about what a success that is for the writers of any character. Nowhere in ME 2 have I seen something like that. Of course usually the companions just don't care what you do anyway. <_<

Yeah, that would probably require something bigger then DLC to fully see that change in character over time. At least it would get started in the DLC, but we'll see what Bioware does with that.

100% with only 9 votes don't really say that much and just give it time and the haters will find it. Need some votes before that happens.

If you look at it, Therum and Noveria are like early versions of ME2's recruitment/loyalty missions. Therum is obviously Liara's recruitment mission, and Noveria is Liara's loyalty mission as she has a personal stake being there in Benezia. So sad when Benezia dies in front of Liara, calling her "Little Wing" for the last time.

Yeah, when Tali's dad dies she gets a paragon interruption for a hug, but none for Liara when her mom dies?:crying:

Thats it, my next ME2 run Tali can go cry in the corner.

Oh lol, well I plan on leaving eventually, some of the hard core Tali fans are getting really annoyed with me when someone says something about Liara and I fire back, causing a whole debate that goes on for pages.:lol:

Poor Liara.


QFT, one of the things I miss in ME1 is the interrupt system. Hugging Liara after her mum dies would have been pretty emotional.
