The interrupt system is one of the few changes in ME 2 that are for the better. But at least you got to talk to Liara about it later.

Or even when Liara opens the floodgates and lets her emotions pour out in ME2. Seriously, it's so sad how she says all of that, and how she reveals what she's been through, that a hug certainly wouldn't have gone amiss there.

Side note and non-Liara. I was just talking to Thane and didn't use the cheesy "i want you" dialogue, but when I was leaving he called Olivia Shepard "Seha". Does anyone know what that means?

Oh, and I think I saw someone comment on my comment about how my ratio for how much I'd pay per hour of content, and whoever it was, they were pretty much right, I keep forgetting that pretty much everything has overheads. So honestly, seven dollars for an hour and a half of content... is still just out of my range even if it was for Liara entirely, but I can understand it a little better. Or do we want Ali "Awesome" Hillis, Mark "Awesomer-than-expected" Meer, and Jennifer "Awesome-in-her-sleep" Hale to work for free? Especially since what we want is conversation options. (I'd therefore pay ten for a two-hour expansion, but up it to five and I only up to fifteen -- and again, its gotta be Miss Awesome at the center and fully voiced by the Awesome Trio.)
Still, I really think Liara deserves just about as much content as was dedicated to her in the first game, at least. And I will buy a flat-out expansion that has her story fleshed out even if it means we drop her back on Illium -- as long as she's got a different attitude later on in conversation. Unless they want to go the Leliana route and let her be hardened permanently... to which I say, make it an option -- though it'll be an option I never choose just like my little Orlesian flower never got spoiled in DA:O -- and I don't have a problem with it. Just so long as I feel like I'm getting my LiLi back sometime soon... er.
