I'm sorry but I never saw the Dialogue of when Shep gets offended by "the waiting for humans to die comment." where is it? and when does it happen? and where is the "asari that weeps over her deceased human bondmate's picture'?

What do you think ME should do about Liara and shadow broker as DLC or in ME3? I think you should have 2 choices.

Paragon choice : have a heated argument with Liara and convince her that the revenge is not worth it to kill the Shadow Broker for friend and Shepard and she joins you as a squad mate in ME3 to stop the Reapers.(This is my Choice)

Renegade choice : help Liara kill the Shadow Broker and which Liara turns evil from her completing the revenge she wanted for her friend and Shepard and maybe stays on ilium as the new Shadow Broker or comes with you on your quest to stop the Reapers

and if Liara is your love interest, like me, the same choices above I stated but Just Make The Whole Scene With Liara Juicey. :-)

The line is in the quest with the asari and her krogan boyfriend irc you have to take the investigate options

Nice ideas on the Liara/Shepard there,I pictured something similar, actually any kind of argument would have been nice or any other emotion on shepards side so this could actually qualify as "rocky part" of the relationship.

During the "quest" on Illium with the Asari wondering if her Krogan friend is serious and whether she should marry him. Only thing Shepard does is smile in a kind of insulted-yet-polite way.

Also on Illium. You can find a trinket during one of the quests (I think Miranda's side quest), and only then can you talk to her.

I think that Liara's DLC won't be an extensive 15+ hour expansion like what Stubbs thinks, but I definitely feel it will be substantial with alot of deep emotional content, and with additional lines or scenes if Liara is your LI.

However, I also think there's a good chance that Liara will play a prominent role in this large expansion mooted for next year, what will supposedly bridge the gap between ME2 and ME3. That may show how Liara has her problems sorted and her guilt and emotional torment resolved, and then she'll be free to join the Normandy for ME3.

And ratz, I can't get enough of Liara's smile in that pic. Beautiful!

So this large expansion for next year is actually real?
Please tell me it is.

There is a lot of evidence that says it is.  We don't know what it is, of course, but everyone here is hopeful that its the story of Liara and the Shadow Broker.

I really hope it is then.
I have been saving my ms points for the Liara dlc.

i know u guys covered this but did it seem like her fued with the sb about her friend give you a suspicion that they were more than friends???

On the surface it may appear that way, but most of us are convinced there was nothing between Liara and Ferron.  There's nothing in the comic thus far, with only one episode remaining that we haven't seen.  And Liara's motivation to recovering your body would seem to imply that she's deeply committed to Shep (even if she didn't romance Shep) and isn't thinking about romance with other people at the time.

The word friend is a loaded term, but we think she meant a literal friend.

Of course, if BioWare wanted to finish the Liaramancers off once and for all, putting the screws to the group to the best of its ability, they would introduce a romance between Liara and Ferron.  But I don't see it happening.

I have to say, if you want to look at BioWare and EA as being as greedy as JP. Morgan, then the Expansion makes even more sense.
If BioWare spent 2.5m dollars on a 90min Liara DLC and sold it at $10 a piece to 1m people (half of the people who bought ME2 in the first week, realistic numbers), their gross income from the DLC would be 7.5m dollars.
If they spent 10m dollars on a 15 hour full Expansion and sold it to 1m people (at this point, more people would buy it because of it being a full expansion) for $20, their gross profit would be 10m dollars.

So they would make 2.5m dollars more off of a 15 hour Expansion then the 90min DLC.

I read somewhere that ME2 cost 25m - 30m dollars to make, so a 15 hour expansion for 10m dollars wouldn't be unreasonable.

Maybe, but the point he was making was that the Tali thread has wars, and I assume the other groups do as well.  The Liara thread doesn't.

I do feel like that in the end it will be all worthwhile for sticking with Liara throughout the trilogy, as she's the only squadmate guaranteed to be alive for the third game and therefore realistically is the returning squadmate that BW will invest the most amount of time and resources in developing for ME3, meaning that we get Liara involved deep within the plot and an emotional and epic conclusion to the romance.

It would be cheaper than that because they wouldn't have to develop any mechanical systems or anything.  It would just be dialogue and level design using mostly existing properties.

I do think that all the LI's will have great romance conclusions, especially the originals from ME1 if you were faithful.

I just want something good with Liara to hold me over until ME3 is released.
But I do have high hopes and expectations for ME3, and Im sure that BioWare will deliver to everyone including us Liara fans.

I don't know if they will do that because of the whole thing about what the shadow broker did and 2 years of torment.

I Think it's going to be a heated argument and convince Liara to not kill the Shadow Broker and turn away from revenge (Paragon) or help Liara kill the shadow broker and gives into revenge and she becomes the new Shadow Broker (Renegade)

thats almost gonna be like Kotor or Kotor 2 lol!

I don't think Liara's ever going to continue in the information field once the SB is gone. Think about it, her only reason for working as an information broker, a job she clearly hates I might add, is to end the Shadow Broker for what it did to Shep. Once the SB has gone, she has absolutely no reason to continue in the field and will likely join Shep again, as she expresses a desire to in ME2.

What if she wants too look and analyze all that the SB had once she kills them?
That could be a reason that she does not join you until ME3.

You could make the choice where you allow Liara to kill him or you take on the burden and kill him yourself.  Its kinda what they did in Dragon Age with Alistair and Loghain.  You could spare him, in which case Alistair left, or you could condemn him to death and kill him yourself or allow Alistair deal the final blow (which totally screws up Alistair marrying Logain's daughter).

If you allow those choices to affect Liara's character afterward it could be pretty powerful.
