I see that that's little Liara with her mother, Matriarch Benezia.
I sometimes wonder what Matriarch Benezia meant when she called Liara her "Little-Wing" (and I highly doubt she was quoting a Hendrix song title). I've never heard that term used anywhere else, and I wonder if it has significance to the Asari.
And I see it as little Liara as well.<3
Yeah, but what could the significance be? It just makes me think about the context of the situation in which Matriarch Benezia first started calling Liara her "Little-Wing", and, again, if it has meaning as a term to the Asari.
I have no idea, I always just thought it was something she called Liara when she was young.

I think it's just a pet name. I imagined it was what Benezia called Liara every single night when she tucked her into bed as a little girl. It obviously resonated with Liara as something personal, because when Benezia called her "Little Wing" she looked down with a really sad expression on her face.
screwoffreg, I'll read your Liara fic later. Glad to see you're writing more, I loved your other Liara story, even if it was a little dark in the middle.

Yeah, as much as Casey doesn't feel like admitting it, they did actually put a lesbian romance in the game.JPfanner wrote...
As much as that quote gets my hackles up a bit, I have to recognize that no matter what he may say to some interviewer, when it comes down to it we are able to enjoy a lesbian relationship in a game. If it wasn't for chances like Liara in ME and Leliana in DA, my heroic alter egos would be all lonely.
Still my "female looking, but liarasexual Shepard" line is still making me giggle.
I don't know why he is in such denial, but hey, what are you gonna do.
My characters would be all alone as well (Fallout 3). I don't know why there aren't more f/f romances in RPGs, not Kelly f/f romances, those are completely meaningless.
Casey Hudson definitely provides some entertainment with his famous quotes.

Thats how I always felt it was, just something that Benezia called Liara like a term of endearment for her daughter.LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...

I shall read your story in a bit, I loved your last one.screwoffreg wrote...
I have been working on another Liara-related story with the character I introduced in a previous work.. Its called "Of Songs and Seals". I have the last chapter done but have no posted it yet as I want to see how people react to the story so far. I imagine all of you will really, really like the ending, but the current story involves Liara quite a bit. The link is below, if you are interested. I hope, as always to entertain.
I think the epilogue almost made a few tears come out, lol. (It was a good epilogue, a Shepless Liara always makes me sad to think about though).

He tried to say that the FemShep/Liara romance isn't a lesbian relationship as the asari are "asexual". Everyone laughed at him.

He just doesn't want a lesbian romance in his games (even though he allowed it to be put it in there)
Admitting you have a lesbian romance in your game will not destroy your company.
Sometimes I wonder how people got to positions of power when "Asexual Asari" is the best they can come up with...

Hey, just came back from my class and saw some nice fanart on the previous pages.
Someone had this in their avatar on the Tali thread and I had to ask for the full picture. Im sure it has probably been posted before here but I loved it.
I love this pic to. The artist is Jean-Teufel, a great DA-artist.
