I was kind of disappointed that there was no reward for staying faithful in ME2. Whether it had been an achievement, or just an ingame email or something little, it just would have been nice to have some kind of acknowledgement.LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...
I'd love it if during the romance epilogue with Liara, just as it shows Shep and Liara making their bondmate vows to each other we get this:
*plink*
Achievement Unlocked: True Love
Remain faithful to a Mass Effect 1 relationship throughout the trilogy
Support Liara T'Soni for ME3 - Squadmate and LI

I agree. I mean right before going through the relay you either watch the picture or sleep with your ME2-LI.
I'd have liked it if in that moment your ME1-LI (only if you had one, of course) calls you. EDI just patches it through...and there you have it....you can have an emotional dialogue right before the "suicide"-mission or you get caught cheating .... that would have been awesome imo.......but we didn't get that but I'm still confident that we'll get some awesome DLC in the future.....

What's with the awful long quote chains and spamming? Is that really necessary? I've never set foot into the Tali thread, but if I would, I would only do so if I had something positive and constructive to say.
Back on topic:
Great pic, bjd. It's unusual to see Liara smiling in ME2, so that's a welcome pic.
I don't know what provoked those Tali fans to spam here, but I'm glad they've gone now.

What a great idea. Why didnt they do that?
LesEnfantsTerribles:
Lets hope they do so.
Aa, a happy Liara pic brightens the day.

That woud have been good Baal, yeah. I also would have liked it if during the picture scene it cut to Liara in her office on Illium, like in the video that arcuido made. It'd really emphasise that they're two lovers, sadly apart due to circumstance and that they deeply miss each other and pray for the other's safety.
I'm confident that we'll get deep, emotional dialogue with Liara in the DLC, and additional dialogue or a scene if she's your LI. Can't wait!

She looks so cute the way she has her arms demurely behind her back. Gotta love the BBG!

I know, I got so used to having Liara with me during ME1.
I kept wondering what she'd say at certain situations during ME2, and wishing she was here. Knowing that she was there on Illium and so unhappy was awful.
No, no, can't be sad! Be optimistic! Looking forward to being with Liara for her DLC! <3

I'm sure that most of BioWare Community will support 100% the return of Liara in Mass Effect 3. Liara was easily my favorite Mass Effect 1 character and was my Paragon's love interest. In ME2 I didn't expect her to be a party member but I expected for there to be more feeling and more dialogue when I interacted with her in the second game.
Keep your eyes peeled for Liara's DLC. The way her current character and story arc has been written, with alot of emotion involved and with everything she did for Shepard, it would feel completely unnatural if there wasn't any deep or emotional dialogue with Liara, with the possibility of additional conversations of scenes if she is your LI. The Liara DLC will be where you're able to have romantic conversation with Liara, IMO.

I have a question to all of you:
What kind of sheps are yours? I know a lot of you have fem sheps with Liara. And it seems most of you go with paragon-style.
Am I the only one with a male renegade Shep?

I have all Paragon FemSheps who have all romanced Liara (I have never romanced anyone else, The BBG is the only one for me).
I am pretty sure other people have a or some Renegade Shep(s) though.

What kind of Shep? I have two main Sheps:
Daria Shepard (female) with Liara 100% Paragon
Derumiel Shepard (male) with Liara 100% Paragon
And i mostly play paragon, renegade choices seems most time just wrong to me, but the important point is, that Liara loves every Shepard <3
But I know that others play renegade Sheps.

Especielly if you go bad.
Most games seam made more for a male character. DAO and ME included. You get a totally new game experience. DAO has a lot more to give to a male hero. ME isnt quite as much, but still it seams more real.
The default Shep that is assosiated with ME is male. Its even based on a model. Even if there is a default femShep as well she seams just more randomly put together.

Male, Nathan Shepard, Soldier, 100% Paragon
Female, Kate Shepard, Adept, 100% Paragom
Of course, both of them are with Liara.<3
