Liara's reluctance to leave Shepard is so sad. Her final pleading "Shepard..." before Shep orders her to leave is so moving. Wish they didn't have to be apart for two years. :-(

Hehe, I love how this Romance pack thingy has stirred the forum even if it was just dev speaking in "if's" and maybe's. This has inspired me to write some Romance pack examples to "If I were Commander Shepard" thread.

The best part though is when her eyes lock into Shepard's just before it. They way they look deeply at each other is just so sweet.

Yeah, it's quite amusing.
I'm sure this 'Romance Pack' (if it happens) won't contain anything having to do with Liara's romance. It will just be for the ME2 LIs. Therefore, it will be absolutely useless for me.

If there's any LIs that need ME2 content, it's the ME1 LIs, J. I'd be surprised if there wasn't anything to do with Liara in this mooted romance pack.

Yeah, I am sure they are probably crunching numbers right now for a Romance Pack.
It is actually a good idea, as long as it has substance to it. (Who wouldn't want to go out on dates with Liara? She is perfect!).

So, without spoiling anything from another game, it seems as if the DA:O LIs do suffer the same fate in Awakening as the ME 1 LIs in ME 2 (and some even got it worse, go figure). Combined with other things I don't like, it saves me some money, but it does not bode well.

I think the romance pack thing was meant more as a joke than anything else. Really, though, what was missing from Liara in ME2 was _character development_ more than romance.
Sure, it's impossible to believe both characters would allow the other to walk out of the office without saying anything - but there could be a reason for Liara's silence the comics have yet to reveal. Shepard's silence doesn't make sense regardless, but I think they were attempting to push the "OMG rocky!" angle a bit too hard.

Well, finished the last chapter of my second Liara romance story. Of Song and Seals is done. I am growingly increasingly worried that within a few weeks my plotlines will be nullified if the last comic truly is a shocking reveal. Another part of me thinks it will be more of the same.
