Look at poor Liara, that's how much Shep means to her. To think, perhaps a week before this she would have watched Shep get spaced. :/

I do like how double-breasted suits are still in-style.
It is a sad pic though. It never mentions a Shepard funeral in game, does it?

Niccce. I wish there were regular Mass Effect webcomics.

Decent fanart. Still i wonder why Bioware didn't add a funeral scene to a imported shepard, it could have been a pretty emotional scene.
Just another reason i find the ME2 plot lacking.

From what I've gathered the Council and Alliance seem to have downplayed how tragic Shepard's death was, probally to keep population happiness up.
It was probally briefly mentioned on the Galactic News, something like this:
"Famous singer, Harlo the Elcor has finally retired after years of a hugely successful career and an atonishingly popular fanbase, a celebration has been made by Harlo and he has invited all his fans, the ticket of entry shall be 2000 credits, The Systems Alliance and Citadel Council are funding the celebrationl. The Alliance when asked why they are funding an Elcor's retirement party replyed with "We just have all these credits and we thought it would be a good move to improving relations with the Elcor. Plus we have no other celebrations or funerals to be organizing. There was a guy who died yesterday, but he would have wanted this.", when the Council was asked the Turian Counciler said "Ah Yes, "Reporters", foolish people who think they can go over and get into everyone's personal business just so others can know everything about it, supposeively responisble for the huge uncoverage of Saren Arterius by investigating claims of his corrupt by Captain David Anderson of the Alliance, who we then sent the Turian Fleet to arrest him and did so without a scratch so we then went back and realized the Geth had taken over his ship which we destroyed flawlessly, and Saren definatly wasn't in anyway caught by some "First Human Spectre" who also was the one who found out he was a Rogue Spectre, We dismissed that claim." and that was all he could say at this time. In other news, Commander Shepard was killed in an attack recently. I'm Emily Wong and that's all for today."

A Shep funeral at the beginning of ME2 would have been pretty powerful, yeah. Maybe if Liara was your LI, it could show her walking up to the coffin, placing her hand on it and through her tears vowing to find Shepard? Would've been a nice set up for Redemption, and it's another little recognition of the romance.

But its still a great pic, and I love the way Liara was drawn, even if it she is so upset.

I've just realised, it's now under 3 weeks until we get the last issue of Redemption. Feeling excited, folks? I can't wait, I want more Liara and I want to find out how Liara got in the predicament she finds herself in during ME2.
Plus, then there's the Liara DLC to look out for!

I dont think they are going to release a preview now though, as it may reveal who Feron works for, and they may want to keep us waiting until it is released.
Speaking of the comic, who exactly do you order from? I need to cancel my order from tfaw.com, I dont feel like waiting 2 weeks for the final issue.

This is where I've ordered it from.
Honestly, I think it's better to get it from comic book sellers on eBay rather than the companies you're using. I'm getting them faster than you, and I live in England!

Well, who can he be working for aside from Cerberus? It's not the Shadow Broker. It could be the Alliance, but that would be kind of weird (why keep it a secret from her?). Plus we know the Illusive Man has an agent working on this mission - it's pretty much got to be Feron.
Yeah, thinking of who could be surprising and still want to make Liara rescue him narrows the choices...
It can't be someone blatantly evil, because then why would she care? So no Collectors, Reapers, etc
So who else? Cerberus makes the most sense as who else could set up Liara and protect her. Also, who else could threaten her and keep her quiet about the past...
The Council? Makes no sense.
The Alliance? A drell agent? Maybe...doesn't seem to fit and Anderson NEVER mentions it. You'd think the Illusive Man would also have something to say about it...
Also the Illusive Man saying that Liara works for the Shadow Broker when he knows that is 100 percent not true. He is saying it obviously to throw you off from recruiting her (its in the context of that conversation) and probably because she still is useful to him as leverage...or she has some secret debt to repay...

Well there is always the option of throwing an up to this day unknown faction into the mess, would be somewhat stupid since the would need to explain their motives and stuff and still get shepards body back and whatnot in the same comic, but I wouldnt be suprised

The ancient beings of light the Volus believe in? Talk about ridiculously out of left field though...
Or to be even more wild, the remains of the true Protheans, the last of a supposedly dead people...lol that would be crazy.

Furthermore, do you think it's going to be true that Liara is offered to work with Cerberus at the end of the comic, and has been manipulated by TIM? How do you think that would suffice as a big "reveal"?
