I always wondered, is there a bone in the asaris tentacles? It looks like something runs down each one in the middle.

Of course, if they were cartilage, they would be somewhat flexible. But definitely not like "tentacles".
There would be a lot of movement if they were completely flexible, but they always stay in place no matter what happens.
It is definitely not bone, I would imagine they would be formed more along the lines of our noses.
Made of out cartilage so they don't break when pressure is put on them, but still strong enough to take a hit.
