I also like the labcoat better than the dress, but I don't mind the dress.

Jokes aside, I really liked her in ME1, she was a sweet character and very endearing, so I hope to have her on my squad in ME3!

The eyes definitely do win, but her butt is completely amazing as well.
I liked that video, BW should have done something like that.
While watching it, it definitely did make me remember all of the good times with Liara, and the hard times she is going through right now.
I can't wait for the Liara Expansion where we can make her feel better, she deserves complete happiness with Shep.
I believe that at the very, very least, we will get to go on at 4-7 hour deep story with her complete with all of the emotional scenes we want.
Honestly, Liara has probably gone through more hell than any other squadmate.

Very true, Stubbs. It's so sad how obviously emotionally tormented Liara is in ME2. I can't wait until we get the opportunity to help her find comfort and happiness again, and some deep emotional and romantic conversations with her.
Roll on Liara's DLC! Can't wait for more of the BBG! <3

Just resumed playing my new FemShep ME1 playthrough, and I've just finished Eden Prime. Straight away, I went to the Med Bay Storage room and had a little look at Liara's chair that she'll eventually be sitting on. Must have been in there for quite a few minutes, haha!
Can't wait until I get to Therum so I can meet Liara again!!
I did the exact same thing when I got off Eden Prime!!! I got a little tingle when I saw Liara's "spot" on the Normandy. I'm wandering around the Citadel right now, having just completed the first encounter with the Council (honestly we didn't present them with enough solid evidence to act on...I think if my Shep were in charge she would have delayed going to the council until we had something more solid to present...as it was we wound up looking silly). As soon as I get the opportunity I'll be heading off to pick Liara up.
I think you and I play this game much the same way, Les.

I agree....the evidence you finally present them wasn't that much stronger than the evidence you had the first time. All you have is a recording some 'quarian' found. I mean no disrespect to Tali or quarians, but they're not considered the most trustworthy species in the galaxy.

I'm going to go get Wrex, find Garrus, assault Chora's Den. save Tali and then it's off to Therum!

Yeah, it was stupid really. For all the councils doubting, they sure took that evidence straight away. None of their "tough decision making" then was there? For all they knew, it could have been evidence falsified by a quarian in an attempt to make the geth the councils problem and take steps to deal with them.
Mind you, I dont consider it as crappy a writing move as Cerberus in ME2. Not only are the magically the only organisation that for some reason takes the reaper threat seriously (realistically they should just ignore it, since if the council can, you bet your ass cerberus would). Also we cant at any stage go beyond timid suspicion against them.
Definitely one of the most pathetic and forced parts of much of the poor writing in ME2 IMO.

I wish there were less missions that involved killing everything that moves, but Liara is there so I can't complain.
On a related note, I am suprised TIM never brought up all of the Cerberus Operatives you killed in ME1, shouldn't that have been three quarters of Cerberus?
God, Liara just makes ME perfect.
When you play it, you feel as though it is the best game ever because Liara is there.
I know ME2 will feel the same way when the Liara Expansion comes out. <3 (Ignore the main story, Liara will be the main story for me).

I'm still trying to figure out how video footage of Sovereign on Eden Prime was never mentioned as part of the evidence. Everyone has to know that Saren has Sovereign, tooling around in 2km long unique dreadnaught would seem like something people would tend to notice.

Its that forced writing I was on about. You see, the council (the most powerful form of governance in the known galaxy) can look at sovereign and say "geth ship" and look at the reaper threat and say "myth". Cerberus though? They take one look and know its real, and they become Shepards only "ally". You see it had to be that way, because its "edgy". Nevermind that the player isnt given any opporunity to create real friction, or outright state a desire to kill everyone in cerberus once hes finished. No, simply having them be the only option in such a silly, ham fisted fashion creates enough "darkness" and "edginess" on its own.

Definitely, the Council has been ruling a galactic civilization for 2700 years and humanity has been on the scene for barely 30 years. Cerberus in it's entirety in the game is just one big joke with their scope. I seriously do get the impression that they're like some Mary Sue outlet since Shepard's actions belong to the player. At least it is supposed to be that way, but in ME2 it seems like Shepard is harnessed to the Cerberus plow like some freaking obtuse ox that just quietly chews their cud and shuffles along where ever TIM points.Dinkamus_Littlelog wrote...

I made it myself, although "made" is probably too strong a word and implies artistic creativity that I lack : (LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...
JP, where did you get that Liara avatar from? I like it, she looks interesting in it.
The background is an Illium concept painting screenshot I got from one site, her clothes are cut from an ingame screenshot, and her face is from a drawing of her by some artist. The drawing is, er, explicit though so I don't think I can link it directly.

He, uh...edited it from a rather explicit picture of Liara.
