This thread has really been growing. I just have 3 characters that have Liara as the LI. I wish I had run into Mass Effect earlier. Also it would be pretty cool to see an asari-controlled world like Thessia. There is still a lot of things we don't know about them. There is so much material! So many things that they could do with it.

I can't recall any mention of Benezia's exact age. Shiala does say that she followed Benezia for almost two centuries though, and Benezia was known by voice to the asari Councilor, so I'm assuming she was one of the most important asari in Citadel Space which would imply being closer to the high end of Matriarch.
I think it is safe to say that she was a matriarch when she had Liara, since Liara is 106 (in ME1), and Shiala has been a follower for almost a hundred years before Liara was born. Which is why I always say that if Liara wanted to really know who Benezia's partner was she could just ask one of Benezia's followers.
If Liara doesn't have any sisters, then that means Benezia probably never really entered the Matron stage like the typical asari progression. Which makes sense looking at Liara, she's not the typical Maiden. That's why I think the Matron stage is really one that asari can just turn off and on when they decide to have children. The progression given in the codex is the typical chronological progession for the average asari. Arguably, we could make up Maiden, Matron, and Matriarch progressions based on age for the average human female based on statistics.

On a side note here, Shiala says she's followed Benezia for couple centuries, Liara is only 106 at that time, any chance Shiala could be Liara's "father" ?

I used to have about five or six finished characters (all FemSheps with Liara has their love), but my Xbox HD broke and I lost them all.
Now I am at the one finished FemShep that I did about two months before ME2 came out and I am working on the other FemShep right now.

The only time I would even consider getting a tattoo would be for Liara.
But, I think I should completely deck out my whole house with Liara wallpaper, pictures of Liara, and a Liara bedset.

Oooh! Let me know where you find a bedset   I'm sure there are some custom wallpaper makers around, pictures all over the net.

To get a custom avatar, you need to have Dragon Age:  Origins for PC.

Hmmm... Liara tatoo, you say?  That sounds almost tempting, and I'm deathly afraid of needles even.  But I'd do it for my LiLi .

And I used to have quite a few saves for ME completed, all for Liara, and then my Xbox got stolen, and it took a while to get a new system.  (For some reason they didn't steal Mass Effect, lucky me.)  As a result, I only have three importable playthroughs... two of my Space/War Hero Infiltrator (50 and 59) and one of my Spacer/Sole Survivor Vanguard (level 54, but I really do want to have my max-Charm decisions ... seriously, as much of a kick in the gut the Toombs e-mail is, I'd prefer to be able to get it in general.)  Still, plenty of time meeting strange and interesting people from alien cultures -- and killing them -- goes by pretty quickly when the BBG is by your side, right?

LOL Liara bedsheets. I have blue bedsheets, similar to her skin color. Would be pretty cool if there were Mass Effect themed bedsheets.

Toombs....*sigh* after the first two times of getting his nasty emails in ME2 I run his encounter in ME1 with the options of him shooting Wayne then shooting himself so they both are dead, Liara doesn't complain nor *insert random squadmate* , I get no email nor any comments announced over Galactic news in ME2.

Always take Liara, that's why I have so many saved games from ME1, to get the Squadmates Achievements, I don't leave ship without her.

As far as a Tattoo goes, most use the modern tattoo machine, don't see any needles, just a big ole pen looking thing, bring a bottle of Southern Comfort and have at it!

There's an interview with Ray Muzyka on XBL now about DLC... no mention of Liara DLC even though the interviewer gave him the perfect oppurtunity when talking about crossovers with the comic. :-(

Afraid not. It's a video on the Xbox Live dashboard.  

The most interesting thing he said was that they were going to listen to what fans want in regards to DLC. 

If these are the same fans who want the elevators cut, the Mako cut, RPG elements cut I can't say.

Listening to the fans... yeah, right. They did what they had to in order to cut down development time, which I have no doubt they were forced to. People complaining about "complicated" stuff like an inventory or a vehicle only provided a convenient excuse to cut it out altogether.
