I blame EA. ¬_¬
I never really pay attention to what the devs say in interviews, everything they say has been reviewed by lawyers and cut down to the bare minimum.
I can't wait for Liara DLC, I will be so happy when we can comfort her. <3:wub:
We should hear something about it in Redemption #4 or very soon after.

Primordial Liara.
This is a very special picture for me, it was in the very first article I read about Mass Effect way back in '06. Man, the memories.

I do love her final look, she is a Beautiful Blue Goddess.
I can't wait to make her happy again in DLC, (I hope she can go back to her beautiful blue colour when everything is over and she has no more stress).

Nervous of who he's really working for?
I don't think he's going to backstab Liara or anything. I think he's working for Cerberus.
Also, I agree Stubbs! I hope Liara can go back to her beautiful deep blue colour when we comfort her and make her happy again. I hate seeing Liara so sad.
I love her!

No not about who he is working for, all through the Redemption series Liara has held him off with distrust and shows no real affiliation for the guy other then working with him to complete her mission, But ... in ME2 conversation with Shepard she implies a deeper "friendship", nothing so far in the series gives me that impression...I am wary

I agree, when I first met with Liara in ME2, and heard about her "friend" it made me a bit... uneasy.Unata wrote...

Don't worry!
Liara is just obviously appreciative of the sacrifice Feron is obviously going to make in issue 4 so that she can escape with Shepard. It's another thing that's playing into her guilt on top of handing Shepard over to Cerberus, that Feron sacrificed himself for her.
I think that scripted Liara saying "friend" for convenience sake. Liara is grateful for Feron's sacrifice, not Feron himself.
Plus, do you reckon Liara might be feeling guilty for treating him like crap throughout Redemption, and then he sacrifices himself for her and Shepard?

They aren't "together," if that's what you're worried about. Liara probably just feels bad because he gets caught or something.Unata wrote...

Come on guys, this is Liara. Have some faith in her, does that really seem like something she'd do? She's absolutely crazy about Shepard in Redemption, she's desperately in love.
I feel guilty even suggesting Liara would do such a thing, It's just not her.

Actually I'm more warry about who he works for, will they do the logical thing like hes working for Cerberus or will they throw in a third faction out of nowhere.
Another Issue is also still the direction the cut content takes and the danger of it emerging as Liara DLC,while I agree the lines in the files are junk noone stops them from just recording new ones handeling the same thing.

Nah. Liara is not in love with Feron. I mean, for how long do they work together anyway? It's seems like Redemption takes places in a really short time. So, it's a definite no. She is worried about Feron b/c if it wasn't for him, she would have never succesed or even survived. So, she feels like she owns him.

Come on, you're being paranoid! She's madly in love with Shep! She doesn't even particularly like Feron, she just apprectiates his sacrifice! Trust Liara, this is our LiLi we're talking about here!

Yep, it's called Liara's World.
Really does bring back great memories of meeting Liara on Therum.

Well quite frankly Liara is doing a lot of things many never thought she would do right now,but I agree a Feron "romance" was never really a possibillity.

I'll pay almost any reasonable price they lay out for a Liara DLC or expansion on two conditions...
1. They bring closure to her storyline and get her focused back on taking out the Reapers for ME3.
2. (And most important!) They need to have the two of them pick up their romance and swear their love for each other or something of that nature. And the dialogue needs to show this. I would even go so far as to have Shep do something of what Revan did when Bastila turned to the Dark Side briefly. They built this up as an epic love affair and now they need to follow through. The end result regardless needs to be that Liara is an acknowledged LI of Shep and she returns to the Normandy with him. Also... for continunity, she needs to remain in his quarters with him on the ship and this is where you go to talk with her. You can't have your LI in another part of the ship... it just wouldn't do.
If a DLC or expansion doesn't do these things then sadly I believe Bioware will limit her role in ME3 to an NPC that you can only talk too and with very limited dialogue. In which case, as I have stated before, I will not be buying ME3 for any reason.
Also... if it leaks out either within the comics or about the DLC that this is not the direction they are going to go... i.e. she had a relationship with Feron or has moved on for some other off the wall stupid reason... well I won't be buying the DLC or expansion either.
You gave her to us Bioware... now you need to give her back to us!!!
