No... what Lili done (aka strike deal whit Timmy) was in a matter of fact lesser evil that if she would do nothing (like rest of the team do) because she give our Sheps second chance to continue quest against harbinger and Co.:police:

Somehow i can't buying whole concept that only Cerberus was able to rebuild Shepard since even Asari are one of the oldest civilizations in galaxy so don't tell me that they don't have "tools" to perform such complicated operation and very possible less costly than lazarus was and i am sure that Asari will not hesitate to help Hero of the Citadel who save Ascension and the Council (in Paragon case) during Saren's attack and later on supply her whit new ship, crew... but then this would looking like ME Avatar... and that's rather unwelcome (complete siding up whit aliens) by many pro-human SF communites.
Heck even here on this forum some posters start calling paragons a traitors for showing Timmy middle finger and that's rather troubling in my mind.

Back to our BBG... i wanted so much hug her and say that i will never hate her for what she done and honestly what greater proof of her love we need if not what she have done to bring Shep back?
It's up to us to stand whit her now and help (DO YOU HEAR THAT BIOWARE!!!) her pass this dark chapter in her life safely.<3
Maybe in 200 years after current events Shep and Lili will tell thier child full story how Shep meet Lilli trapped :o in Prothean bubble on Therum...;)

Thanks J.

Hmm, it's not as bad as I imagined. Liara probably doesn't really react strongly to Shepard calling it a "petty vendetta" as she probably realises that she's coming across as somewhat cold and uncaring, due to her putting up this facade and the fear that Shepard hates her. You do get the feeling that Liara is constantly on the cusp of opening up and acting her true self all the way through the reunion, like she can't stand pushing Shepard away like that but she's terrified that Shep will do the same to her.

Of course, we then get Liara dropping her facade and opening up completely when you ask her about her anger at the Shadow Broker. Liara really wants to be warm to Shepard like that, and when she finally does open up we are never able to say anything to her again, except ask her about her work. So frustrating!

Speaking of deviantArt, looks like Metal-Dragon-Kiryu has a new Shepard/Liara piece on the way:

I was bored so I went searching for Liara. Found some pics on Deviantart...

Don't want to post them without having to get their permission so I'll do the links instead. Forgive me if they have already been posted as well.

Ok... enough for now. That last one with Ashley.. there's quite a few more. Just doesn't seem right though considering how she feels about aliens.

I like that site, although trying to sort through 9,000+ pages of Mass effect art (wasn't just looking at Liara ones) can be an all day task hehe Image IPB

He definitely does a great job, can't wait until completion.

Can't wait for some news about the Liara DLC in Redemption #4.
When you can't end Liara's emotional suffering, it seems like an eternity to wait until we are able to help her and comfort her.
Beautiful Blue Goddess DLC needs to come out, stat. (But, the longer the wait, the better it will be). <3

It would be pretty crazy if Bioware said something like, "Due to the popularity of the Redemption comics and feedback from all our fans, we're happy to tell everyone that we've been paying attention and you'll all be seeing more drell in future content!"

I will certainly not hold my breath. Next thing is the vehicle, and so far it seems like another mediocre DLC from BioWare. Sure it's free, but the first paid DLCs don't bode well either, I think.

I wouldn't have any fears about that.
I highly doubt that BW would screw themselves over for the emotional storyline they have already set up.
The very, very worst I could see the DLC being is about 2 hours and has 50% - 70% of what we want in it.
Realistically, I would say about 5 - 7 hours and has 80% - 90% of the emotional content we want in it.

I have to say, look at Oblivion, Bethesda was the company that put out paid "horse armor" DLC. After the horse armor, they put out Knights of the Nine and The Shivering Isles (a definite upgrade from horse armor, wouldn't you say?).
Crappy DLC the company has put out previously doesn't mean a thing.

If that happens I'll go burn down an Orphanage.

Do you want that Bioware? A burnt Orphanage on your conscience?! All those little orphans burning alive because you didn't give the fans what they wanted?!

Okay, I won't really do that...I'll burn down three Orphanages.

Not that I think BW will screw us with the Beautiful Blue Goddess DLC, but it might just be easier to hit BW with one of these: Complete Annihilation.

Just noticed that Metal Dragon Kiryu is holding a poll of which piece of artwork he wants his fans to do next. One of the options is Shepard/Liara before the Omega 4 Relay. Get your votes in, I have!

I wish my Shepard was with Liara that night, instead all he did was look at her picture.

What kind of Liara art has he done? Ive never seen his work.

His Mass Effect Folder

His Liara artwork is in there.

My favourite is "Reunited". I love the look his FemShep and Liara have in their eyes, you can see their love for each other. He draws Liara so beautifully.

I have a better idea, we could launch one of those things so that the blast radius just misses Bioware HQ, thus scaring the crap out of them and making them realize Liara fans are NOT to be messed with!

Sideeffects of messing with Liara included:

Nausea.
Diarrhea.
Occasional Headaches.
Excessive Hatemail.
Having your skin bleached blue when you sleep.
Suddenly being able to fit into a coffee cup.
Being nuked out of existence.
.

Do you think there would be much back lash if Liara fan art was done out of context? I.E relaxing on a sofa/bed or by a pool.

Hmm, I definitely wouldn't think so, Shadow. I'd actually be quite interested in seeing Liara doing something we're not used to seeing her do, like relax on a bed.

What did you have in mind?

The scene is so cold that I actually prefer to have my Shepard fight w/ Liara. At least in that respect you get some emotion.

I understand fully what you're saying there. It also makes Liara's eventual reveal and her opening her heart alot more satisfying, and gut wrenchingly heartrending.

But...the problem is I just can't make myself argue and get pissed off with Liara. I just sit there and agree to everything she says, trying to be understanding. I know that makes it seem like Shepard is like  throughout the entire reunion, but I can't bring myself to argue with Liara!

What's annoying is that we get the "pissed off argument" dialogue choices, but not the "consoling, comforting, reassuring lover" dialogue option. That's why I'm eager for Liara's DLC.

This, I see as a rather annoying conscious decision.

As I think I said two days ago or yesterday, they're basically trying to have two romance cliches in effect here, and it's your choice.  Either you get pissed off at how cold she is and run off into someone else's arms, or you hide your heartbreak, and eventually get rewarded in the third episode, with an interim reward before the end of the game.  (The evidence to me is Ash and Kaidan -- their interim reward is the e-mail, of course.  And I KIND of hope there's something to the bridging expansion alleged for next year, only for people with the pic still sitting upright on their desks, of course.)

The problem is, the reward is a) not enough and B) amazingly too soon.  "Because I couldn't let you go" should have had more separation, and it should have had a more positive response available to us.  Oh, and it'd be nice if triggering that line got us a different "How are you" line later on -- or a different delivery?

And to an earlier post of yours ... there has to be a reason why she's always the most positive character.  While you can't typically judge party members based on options given, I have yet to find one place where she gives the Renegade option in ME1 and I've played practically every variation.  (Including that unintuitive run-past-the-guy-in-the-chair-so-you-can-get-Kaidan-saying-RTFM bit, as well as the one time I didn't bring LiLi with on Noveria.)   They made her the most pure-hearted one for a reason.

Alright, and as for the hopes for DLC ... I'm hoping for two and a half hours of missions, new convos unlocked, and if it has to be potentially pre-Omega 4, I still want to advance her on her quest a lot more.  (For 7 to 10 dollars American.)  Oh, and I hope I can gut Shadow Broker with a grapefruit spoon.  And a grapefruit.  (But that can wait until the bridging expansion, which will also have to include, as I said, a bone thrown at us loyal-lovers and all.)

There's not much context to put her in from ME2 that doesn't involve office furniture, so I'd be all for getting her out of that office and into other locales. Makes me all sad to see her trapped in that office : (

She could go to Aethyta for some good advice and a drink. Think SB better watch his ass if Liara gets advice from Aethyta :P
