Yeah, I almost get the feeling that the writer didn't have a valid save to work with.  I actually stopped to check who wrote it, and while the first guide was three different people, the ME2 guide was written by Catherine Browne, who I remember by name because she made a point of creating a self-sim for the Sims 3 guide, with the immortal line "YES these are all positive traits, but hey, I've let you see me in a bikini, I think I'm entitled".  That explains why it's a JaneShep in all the illustrations, for one thing, but I also think it could explain why there's less carryover details.  The textboxes could be later edits, even.

Still, just hearing the description of what Renegade Shepard does to Shiala and how Shiala just accepts it... hell, I couldn't see myself doing that in front of Wrex, or Ashley, let alone LiLi.

Yeah, I've only ever seen that scene when I watched the "Commander Shepard is a jerk" video on Youtube. It'd be especially horrible to do with Liara there, because she probably spent her entire childhood growing up with Shiala around.  ME1 was really good at having context specific conversations, so it always stood out there wasn't some between Liara and Shiala.

I always kill her, even when Im paragon.

I did on two of my characters just to see what happens later, but after the Asari in Illium gave me the message from her, I felt she and her "children" will play an important part in ME3.

That’s one thing they really need to bring back in ME3. I don’t know why they dropped it out of ME2. Every LI could have had their own dance in ME2, there are dance floors everywhere, but no… I don’t really understand Bioware’s thinking on this, was it really too hard? I don’t think so. Lazy maybe.

I thought this odd also, since there are "dancers" all over the galaxy getting into the music/beat but our Shep forgot how to dance? It does how ever keep me from lingering around dance floors in ME2

I could never wait to get The Beautiful Blue Goddess, my absolute first mission has and always will be, to get her off of Therum.

I have never made a Shep who didn't romance anyone, I always romance Liara no matter what.
Those other FemShep LIs can go screw themselves.

There's one on youtube, not the options I'd choose in the conversation but it does show how humorus it all is, I did it once awhile back just to see it, should frap it

Liara was a sexy dancer, I miss dancing with her.

And I always figured you could go dancing with your LI from ME2...I always stayed faithful, so I never got to try it out. That seems odd. There are dance floors and places to click "Dance" just like in Flux. BioWare is getting really lazy.

Shepard really sucks at dancing in ME2. Especially if your Shep is a female, like mine. She just dances like a dude, why can't she dance like the rest of the human girls and asari in the VIP section of Afterlife? P.S. Liara's still the best dancer out there. Ashley/Kaidan suck at it, and so does Doran (lol!). I'd rather have Liara dancing than that Asari on that tabletop anyday!

oh i just realized something. if Liara is recruitable, ME3/ME2DLC, will she get her own distinct armor?

i know with Kaiden/Ash-they had their pink/black armor...

With Liara since she was humanoid she didn't really have her own style in ME1... maybe she will be fighting in a dress like Benzia? (not that style ew, but a dress LOL) thoughts?

Shepard has always sucked at dancing, it's really sad. I too wish you could dance as good as the ravers in ME2.

Hopfuly we'll get lapdances from Liara in our cabin after her DLC is over and she moves in with us on the Normany. The bed in Shepard's cabin is big enough for two, but only if it's Liara.

They did change all of the dancing in ME2 really, I don't recall seeing anyone anywhere dancing as they did in ME1, the Afterlife VIP gals are ok, sort of reminds me of Saturday Night Fever though, most of the hired dancers all do that same sort of thing Kelly will do for you onboard ship.

I loved watching my Shep and Liara in Flux, I probably would have saved the galaxy sooner if there wasn't a dance floor there

She'd probably have something simular to what she wore in Redemption I'd think.
