Liara can be an amazing fighter, yet sweet and kind when she is done.Little Mama wrote...

That drawing is very nice. I honestly find it really difficult to pay much attention to art or even screenshots with Maleshep in them (not making any kind of criticism of anyone, just sharing my own feelings). My Femsheps have different hairstyles and colors and they're all Liarasexual, so it isn't that hard to get some extra personal meaning from pretty much any pciture of a Femshep and Liara. If there is a Maleshep around, my eyes keep wandering back to them and I think "Who is that and what are they doing with my Liara!"LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...

Yeah, that is nice. But one thing I don’t get, Why is Shepard often a female in fan art?
Personal preference I'd imagine, Shadow. Alot of people think Shepard's character works alot better as a woman, or prefer Jennifer Hale's voice acting.
I have to say, up until now I've only ever played my DudeShep profile. I started my first ever FemShep game recently, and I think I'm in the group that prefers Shepard as a woman, I think I like the character better that way.
MDK's Liara art really is incredible. He makes her look even more beautiful, if that were even possible!

I said welcome back in the fan club, Justin. But what the hell, I'll say it here too. Welcome back!
I do love those pics of Liara using her biotics. We have alot of Liara looking cute/sexy/adorable, so it's good to see some of her just flat out kicking arse!
Yes, morrie, I've noticed that Liara seems a bit, uh, "bigger" in that picture. Hehe. Liara is beautiful.

So what do you guys think it will happen. Will it be another lame-o and calm conversation like in Mass Effect or will their be serious consequences. I'm hoping for some heavy and serious stuff. I'm planning on getting back with Liara and blowing up Jack, I'm hoping she goes crazy and start killing people if not then the whole serious consequences stuff will be just another lie by Bioware.

Yeah, I always think the same way when I see MaleShep, Shep is absolutely a female for me.JPfanner wrote...

Femshep is just really awesome on Tuchanka, especially if you let your hair down a bit and pick some Renegade stuff like headbutting that Krogan. It was kind of like being a science fiction version of Red Sonja where you're the biggest badass warrior on a planet full of of them.
Really both games are pretty empowering from that point of view, there are very few instances where Femsheps are treated differently because of being a woman. Even with being Paragon, I always smile evilly when Garrus is beating the living crap out of Harkin because of what Harkin says to you in ME1. Then I let Garrus shoot him in the leg and love when Shepard says, "You're lucky, I would have shot you in the head."

If the ME1 romances are availible to new players in ME3 then they at least should make it better for those of us that did the romance in ME1, otherwise whats the point?bjdbwea wrote...
There will be no consequences to speak of. Reason: They don't "waste" time to put things into the game that only old players will see. Everything that mattered from ME 1, made no actual difference in ME 2. It was just service for the fans (at least that), but it was all very shallow and in the end meaningless. So IF (hopefully) you can continue the ME 1 romances in any meaningful way in ME 3, it will also be available for new players, and will play out the same regardless. At most, there would be a conversation where she confronts you with it and you can either make up or break up. From there, it will be exactly the same.
That is, if BioWare doesn't for whatever reasons change their approach back to the one they had up to DA:O. But I don't see that happening with EA in control.
By the way, that picture? Very nice, and still very tasteful. Kind of like the love scenes that BioWare implemented before that disgrace of a media campaign about ME 1.

So I've been thinking, what do you guys think are going to be the consequences for cheating on the ME 1 LI. My main Shepard stayed loyal to Liara in my first and second play through. Now on my fourth try I decided to experiment a little bit. I destroyed the heretics, kept the collector base and I couldn't pass up on the oportunity to see a Jack vs Liara biotic catfight in ME 3. I'm sorry BBG. Maybe I'll be plesantly surprise with a thresome, you never know.

Anyway I will always choose the Beautiful Blue Goddess to be next to my Shepard, side by side.

Don't completely give up on BW, I know they will never be as good as they once were, but EA are the ones who want the money at all costs to the game.bjdbwea wrote...

The point is to make money. As it stands, they could just as well scrap the romances altogether or again introduce completely new ones. The game would still get stellar reviews (I still laugh about ME 2 being the highest rated BioWare game ever), and it would sell. So if they actually provide a meaningful - that's the important word - continuation and conclusion of the ME 1 romances, I will be content with that. If there's even any resolve to the loyal / cheating angle, it should be appreciated. I know I would prefer that to a "continuation" available only to old players like in ME 2. This is not the old BioWare anymore, where you could have higher expectations.

Yeah, I did feel bad killing them in front of her, but she doesnt say anything else about it later so I just went ahead and did it.bjdbwea wrote...

I don't think these confrontations will be
unique depending on the characters involved. You'll just get a generic
confrontation scene. This is due in large part to the sheer number of
possible romance confrontations that would exist. I think Jack and
Liara will confront you, you'll pick one, the one you pick will continue
as your LI and the one you do not pick will stop talking to you.
Therefore, the Liara/Jack confrontation scene will be the same as the
Liara/Miranda one and the Ashley/Jack one, etc.. This is assuming these
ladies will even be around and in your party....if not this might even
happen over email [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/surprised.png[/smilie]

During the heretic decision, you have to think to yourself, WWLD? (What would Liara do?)
I rewrote the heretics.

Am I the only one here that killed the Rachni Queen and the heretics?

If she finds out Shepard has been unfaithful and has trashed her, that might be it for her emotionally breaking down. I think that when she finds out, she won't go mad and try to hurt Shepard. Liara will just say very little, have an absolutely heartbroken expression on her face, quietly accept it and then walk away.
