Well we know that there are definitely asari prostitutes somewhere. Every species seems to love the asari.

They probably just do a sensation meld, so like the asari equivalent of a quickie. Or the physical version of the information meld. Juice up sensation and the pleasure centers, do some grinding, collect their tip.

Liara talks about the union of mind and bodies with Shepard, and that sounds like a deeper connection that the asari take seriously. So you've probably got a progression from "sensation meld", to "union meld", to "parthogenesis meld".

Liara went 106 years, well let's call it 50, since that's how long she was out on her own, and "grown up" for an Asari. She waited all that time for the right someone and found Shepard. Two years is nothing for her, when she knows one day, Shepard is coming back.



She already is worried Shepard will hate her for giving TIM the body, she isn't going to risk anything by cheating on Shepard, not that I think she would even want to. Shepard is everything to her. And who in the galaxy is even close to being as good as Shepard?



Liara is "ok" with Shepard sleeping around, because she doesn't dump you if you sleep with the Consort, but you have to think doing so, hurts her a bit. She is clearly jealous when you just go and see the Consort, if you do it once she is romanced. If Shepard was in love with someone else though...I think that would really hurt her. Would you she leave you...maybe not...but I think she might allow a threesome, only to just not lose Shepard. But that's not her at all.

She definatly took the union as much more than just casual sex, but I think the Asari can have cheap sex without actually doing the Union. She definatly loves Shepard, no doubt about that regardless of whether you romanced her or not, which I find is cute. But I was merely suggesting the possibility that she was just up for a one-time only threesome with Shepard and Ashley/Kaidan. Remember she pretty much hasn't lost her virginity yet, and has probally only recently entered the Maiden Stage(AKA Puberty. Also AKA The time in your life your a little...steamy 24/7) so I think Liara didn't object merely because she was okay with it.

Consider how Asari are usually kind of sleazy, Liara is obviously not sleazy but classy. Now there probally like this because they was raised this way by older Asari who obviously unlike Humans are as Liara puts it "More accepting of their sexualities than other species." .  This probally means Liara was probally taught sex and being sleazy is okay, unlike female Humans where our morals and religions teach us we shouldn't just go sleeping with everything that moves(I'm looking at YOU, Kelly.). Obviously, Maiden's don't usually settle down but Liara is probally the exception but she's still a Maiden, so logically she probally won't see anything Morally wrong with a threesome as long it's just for one time and the third party(Ashley/Kaidan.) leaves the relationship after it so her and Shepard can live happily ever after.

Heck, in comparision to humans Liara's as close an Asari could possibly get to being a Nun. That's something.

So once again in basic:

Liara would possibly be okay with a threesome between Kaidan/Ashley and Shepard as long as it's just this once and Ashley/Kaidan leave. Whilst Shepard and Liara are still in love with each other.

I'm NOT suggesting Liara is sleazy.

I'd just call a duck a duck and say that taking advantage of Liara's feelings for Shepard so Shepard can get her in bed with someone else is as abusive and exploitative as you can get.

Pretty much, I can't see her being raised to believe sex is wrong like we all believe here.

Remember she's not Human, she's likely to have a COMPLETELY different set of moralitiy regarding Sex.

I agree, taking advantage of how much she loves Shepard, just so Shepard can sleep around, is really a low thing to do. My Shepards are always totally faithful. No Consort or Kelly. I was only saying, I think Liara would allow it, only because she loves Shepard so much. But it would hurt her.

I do not think at all, that Liara is any kind of ****. She comes off as a virgin, and I think that's both in body and mind. The joining is clearly very important to her. I think melding, in her mind, means she and Shepard are now a couple, and she will be faithful.

As for when Shepard will die from old age...I think Liara wouldn't take another lover, or even ever fall for anyone else. I see her perhaps becoming the Asari Councilor and raising her daughters.
