I never really thought Liara would be into a threesome. I have never picked that option, but I would assume Liara didn't fully understand what Shep was saying.
She comes across as though she never thought she would find love, but now she finally has with Shepard.

I don't think she would be into sex with random people 24/7. I don't even believe she ever slept with anyone else after Shepard died.
I don't believe it is in Liara's personality at all.

I always wondered if she would find someone else after Shep dies.

I can't see that happening, at all.

Remember that after the Union, apart of Shepard's mind was basically installed into Liara's. Would be just insulting to Shepard's memory if she just moved on. And I'd like to think Asari religions probally say your partner will meet you in the afterlife. So that's basically cheating on your dead partner who you'll be seeing in a few hundred years. And Liara looks religious too me. And since she follows "The Goddess" well, we only know two Asari religions one of them is similiar to Budhism where there isn't a god and you just get reincarnated after death.  Whilst the "Goddess" probally has an afterlife.

Yeah but look at the salarian on Illium, he says that he is the asaris second partner.

I can't see it in Liara though. I'd think she'd be more loyal to Shepard than that, also as someone said earlier, imagine how unsatisfying her second partner would be compared to Shepard?

If it makes you feel better, remember that Shepard will likely live ALOT longer than the average human. I wouldn't be suprised if he lives up to around 200-700 years of age because of his cybernetics and the fact that he's a zombie helps.

And once again, Shepard will likely have a HUGE legacy, they'll probally be books, movies and video games all inspired by his achievements. Kids will probally dress up as him in Costume parties. He'd certainly be hard to forget about and his story will probally be told forever.

And once again, Liara would make a FORTUNE writing Shepard's biography, mainly because it may aswell be an autobiography since Liara basically is Shepard in a way since she has all his memories.

OMG! this starting to sound like Fable and Fable 2 lol

For some strange reason it sounds more like the good ending of Bioshock 2 to me.

To be honest, I can't see Liara moving on after Shepard passes away either. I think she'd take a role as possibly a leader in society, and raise her and Shepard's children in Shepard's memory. Shepard means that much to Liara, that I can't see her moving on.

Remember how un-asari like it is that Liara says she "couldn't let you go"? That's one thing that I think BW should be given credit for in the Liara reunion, that it shows how much Shepard means to her that she's acting atypically of the asari "long view".

Would have been nice though if that line was exclusive to Liara romancers though.

Yeah, that would have been nice.

Good point.   I hadn't thought about that.

What I  mean to say is that I wouldn't begrudge Liara for taking more bondmates after my Shepard's death, if she were to think that it would make her happy.

It's sweet that Shepard is influencing Liara so much.   Usually it's the Asari doing the influencing :)

The Asari generally take several bondmates during their lives. It's only "cheating" from the human perspective. Go go cultural relativism!

Personally I'd want to her find other people to make her happy if she had the chance.  Her love for my Shepard isn't measured in centuries of loneliness.
It isn't as if humans don't commonly remarry after the death of a spouse.

This. After my shep is dead, it's not like anyone that she would bond with would be able to compare ;)

Yeah, you have to assume that Shepard will be the most important historical figure for a very long time if he/she does end up destroying the Reapers. Even if you just stop the current purge, that's still a HUGE, HUGE deal.

And now she's someone that was his/her lover/partner/bondmate - she's basically a connection to this legendary figure (as well as likely becoming legendary in her own right). That's pretty intimidating. Not to mention they'd probably have a bunch of kids. The asari feel like they are kind of stagnant, right? Wouldn't they want lots of children from Liara (who is one of the most accomplished members of their race already) and the best human ever?

Then you could have some awesome conflict where humanity is mad that Shepard's genes aren't passed down in the human race. People could push for Miranda + Shepard babies because they would be the "best."

I'd love to see a side story of one of their daughters becoming a Spectre to follow in dad's footsteps. It's too bad they can't do that.

That would be great, though I can imagine how some humans would feel that Shepard had children with an asari.

Absolutely right, but an Asari will generally have more opportunities to "remarry" in her lifetime than a human will.

Thinking about it now, the Asari must undergo several existential crises during their lives.  For every generation of friends they have, they will likely see them die.   They will likely see their friend's children die, and their friend's children's children die...

Depressing stuff, at least from a human's mind.

Well, the humans can get bent, if they're so worried about their hero's genes not getting passed on to a human.

I'd want for my Shepard to have lots of children with Liara.   Amounts that would make a Quiverfull family go, "Whoa, dude, don't you think you're overdoing it?"

One funny scene enters my head. Think about when Liara finds out where Wrex and Garus took Shep on his bachelor party.

I'd honestly be surprised if Cerberus DIDN'T clone Shepard. Both Miranda and TIM have pretty much hard-ons over Shepard being all awesome from the start. And both of them are obviously pro-genetic engineering. Even if they didn't "seed" some Shepard Jrs as part of one of their crazy projects to improve humanity, I'm sure that they have enough samples and cultures from reconstructing you for two years to do it later.

Even Shepard could donate genetic material back to the humans for the benefit of all mankind.

I voted Liara, but it's a standard poll. Tali in first, Liara in second. Polls all come out the same on these boards.

I did actually have an idea that there would be a futuristic version of a talk show, with a human-supremacist human panellist getting all pissy that Shepard's genes are being passed onto the asari and that Shep and Liara will have no human children. You'd then get the asari panellist acting all smug that Shepard's genes are entering the asari gene pool, and that the asari are welcoming them in.

Also, can you see Khalisa Al-Jilani saying something to Shepard and Liara in ME3 about their relationship? She better not insult Liara!

It would be great if in ME3 we meet her again and this time she comments on out LI if they arent human.

She probably wouldnt be to happy if you had a child with an asari.
