Well thank you Crimmsonwind, I love ME, my most fav game WAS Kotor(when you find out your Revan) but it's ME now, and it all because of LIARA:wub: and her cute self BBG!

Just curious, its been on my mind for a while and I cant remeber.

Does anyone remember the asari and the salarian on Illium that were by the weapon shop?
They were talking about joining Eclipse, and the asari mentions that she has finally left her parents home, and states her age.

Does anyone remember how old she said she was?

With all the interest surrounding LI polls for both male/female players, I figured I'd do the same for Shepard's closest friends. Being limited to 20 options, I had to make choices. I settled for player gender/closest friend of your Shepard.

I know a lot of players will say "My Shep's best friend IS his/her LI..." but that's not the purpose of this poll. We want to know which characters are most appealing as best friends to Shepard.

Who's gonna play card or share a drink with him/her? Who's gonna tease him/her for daring to drink rynchol in the Dark Star and passing out on the washroom floor? Who's gonna be the one taking the bullet for him/her so he can return to the Normandy and shag his/her LI silly?

I came in to ME2 with Liara as basically ALL my characters LI's (had to go back and do 2 more ME1 play throughs to add a couple diff LI's cause I can't cheat on Liara) but after 5 play throughs of ME2, I found myself gravitating more and more toward Jack. Also, this DLC business doesn't get my hopes up for a future Liara squadmate for completely arbitrary "because the writers said so" reasons.



I've still go my fingers crossed. So too do my FemSheps...

They did a very, very poor job.  Bioware's writers went to great lengths to keep her away from Shepard in ME2.  In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the writers spent more time devising groan-worthy ways to keep Ashley, Kaiden and Liara out of the main storyline than they did in writing the game's actual plot.

Some times I  think they practically rewrote Liara's character, merely having her spout references to the events of ME1 so that they could make the two characters at least appear similar.

I honestly think the entire game would have been better if it had picked off from the very end of ME1.

Liara and Shepard's emotions could have been handled a lot better in the reunion scene (especially Shepard).
I believe it was because of the comic book and Redemption, but it would have been nice to at least have an "I love you" from Shep before she left Illium for the suicide mission.
The picture scene was emotional, but I would have greatly preferred a real call from Liara and being able to tell her how much you love her.
I believe this is all for the greater good an we will have a 5 - 7 hour Liara DLC full of emotional scenes, romantic conversations, and a deep story. (And anything else Liara will be a major character in).

But, like I said, ME2 itself would have been one hundred times better if it had continued two weeks to a month off of ME1 and focused on the Reapers instead of the suicide mission.
The best part would have been Liara as a squadmate in ME2. :wub:

I will be so happy to have the Liara DLC where we can comfort her and have an emotional and romantic continuation of the romance and ME3 where she will be a squadmate and we can also have a emotional and romantic continuation and conclusion of the romance.
I still want a cute conversation about Shepard wearing a dress for the wedding, lol.
