When Morinth's eyes go black as she's about to "Embrace Eternity", it looks downright creepy.

When Liara's eyes go black, though, it looks cute and awesome. Plus, does anyone else find her freckles under her eyes in that pic above to be absolutely adorable? <3

Indeed, when Liara's eyes go black it is completely cute (and yes, also sexy).
Her freckles are one of the many, many reasons I love her so much.

That's only because you know she's about to kill you.

Nah, it's different somehow. Her voice, the way she's slithering over to Shep on the couch like a snake.

Liara closes her eyes, opens them again and the black looks really sweet, with the little white parts in them. Morinth's eyes looked a creepy inky black.

I watched the vid on youtube. I know what you mean. It's perfect because she's a predator. You're her prey, and she's closing in for the kill. I think they did it just right. I really liked how well Morinth's character was done.

Yeah, I've heard the Hammerhead DLC isn't too terrific. *sigh* More of the same from BioWare. Its like they are doing everything in their power to kill my faith in them.

BioWare Developer: "Yeled is still hoping for something good from us!"

BioWare Developer 2: "Really? What else can we do to crush that hope like a bug?"

BioWare Developer: "I know! Let's release a silly vehicle shooter thingy that has nothing to do with the game!"

BioWare Developer 2: "Great idea! Yeled'll give up on meaningful story and fleshed out relationships eventually."

BioWare Developer: "Yeah. That Yeled's stubborn, but there's no way that bastard can hold out forever!"

Remember Bethesda's horse armor?
After that, they came out with Knights of the Nine and The Shivering Isles, a definite improvement, wouldn't you agree?

Don't worry about the them not putting a lot of emotional and romantic content in the Liara DLC, BioWare wouldn't have written the comics about Liara's love for Shep or have Liara feel the enourmous guilt she feels if they weren't going to do it.
We just have to wait for it to be released.

I'm confident though that Liara's DLC will blow us out of the water, that we will get intimate conversation with Liara, additional dialogue and a scene if she is your LI, and a chance to comfort her and make her happy again.

True. We also have that countdown coming. It's on both the ME and DA sites, but what if they have 2 separate announcements for both games.

With the new KotoR 2 restoration mod released, I was reminded again how much similarities there are between KotoR 2 and ME 2. Both have, instead of simply making a second part in the trilogy, started a completely new game, trashing the well-liked LIs in the process. But at least we're still Shepard in ME 2.

Very true.

Credit to BW for making Morinth extremely creepy and unsettling. You also at no point feel any sympathy for her, especially after you find out how she emotionally exploited that lonely human girl during Samara's loyalty mission.

During the meld with Liara, though, I love how it was visualised with the pink clouds and stars surrounding Shep and Liara's bodies as they were melding. Looked beautiful, and really highlighted how much of a spiritual and deep thing the asari union is, as Liara explains.

That would make sense, why else would they do it.
I highly doubted they are going to announce Mass Age 1 for the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3.
It would be in their best interest to announce something that has to do with the Liara DLC right now, while interest is at it's peak (even though we Liara lovers are always interested).

The Asari springtime fertility ritual is called "Janiris". It marks the start of the Asari new year.

I tried creating a page for the holiday on the ME Wiki, but I was told that it wasn't substantial enough for its own entry.  I tacked it on under the "Culture" section on the Asari entry page.

Believe it or not I liked Kotor 2 .
Mainly because I started the Kotor series with this one . ( Yeah I know it's not really logic to start off with the second installment :innocent: )
And the icing on the cake : it didn't spoiled me anything from Kotor 1 ( even the BIG revelation )

Adding to that I loved Kreia's character ...

Good work. That's something I wish they'd put in the codex. I love how much backstory the ME universe has, and I wasn't able to catch that daily news feed because I didn't have access to the xbox that day. On that note, does anybody know of a site that hosts all the daily cerberus news stuff?

I dislike how on the ME Wiki they don't actually explain in Liara's article that her supposed "darker personality" is nothing more than a facade, created as a defense mechanism for all the emotional pain she's suffered.

The rest of Liara's article is really good, though.

Somehow I feel being Shepard in the sequel makes it worse.  At least in KoToR 2 there was no illusion of the game being a continuation of the original story.  You're a new character with a new situation.  The only link is it exists in the same universe, at a slightly later period in time.

For that reason I didn't feel many of the frustrations I felt while playing ME2.

Yeah, I always kill Morinth, she is too far gone to be saved in any way.

BioWare definitely put a lot of time and effort into the Union with Liara, it truly is beautiful.
I like how Liara didn't want to just jump into bed with anybody, she explained how meaningful the Union was to her and she wanted to take her time.
Now Shep has taken her virginity and won't say anything to her during the reunion. What a nice woman...
All joking aside, we will definitely have an amazing Liara DLC where we can comfort her and help her get rid of her negative emotions.

Hell, maybe both.
As long as Chuck Norris and Marcus Fenix (that would truly make sense to EA I am sure) get a part, I'm good. :D

What I mean though is that the way Liara's story has been written, her love for Shepard, her emotional guilt and torment for everything that she's done, her obvious unhappiness and sorrow at the predicament she finds herself in, it'd feel completely unnatural if the Liara DLC did not contain any deep dialogue and emotional and tender moments.

Haha.  I hadn't thought of it that way.  It's Bioware's fault, though, not a flaw in Shepard's character.

I totally agree with you.

The difference is that I don't have faith right now that BioWare will do anything good with all of that.  From what I've seen so far they will create something unnatural.
