The Asari springtime fertility ritual is called "Janiris". It marks the start of the Asari new year.
I tried creating a page for the holiday on the ME Wiki, but I was told that it wasn't substantial enough for its own entry. I tacked it on under the "Culture" section on the Asari entry page.
Good work. That's something I wish they'd put in the codex. I love how much backstory the ME universe has, and I wasn't able to catch that daily news feed because I didn't have access to the xbox that day. On that note, does anybody know of a site that hosts all the daily cerberus news stuff?
Yes sir. Here you are:
Cerberus Daily News on the web
Awesome, thank you! Wow that was more obvious than I thought now that I've clicked on the link and read the web address.

The difference is that I don't have faith right now that BioWare will do anything good with all of that. From what I've seen so far they will create something unnatural.
The 'Liara DLC' will just involve destroying SB bases in the Hammerhead.

I assume you guys have noticed the mysterious countdown timer on the BW, ME2, and DA pages?
Liara DLC?Probably not, but I hope so.
The countdown is listed on the Dragon Age site as well so I don't think it's ME specific. It seems like it's an announcement for something BW general.

I have to agree. Good job on your shep. I'm sure I've told you that already at some point though. Too bad I'm an xbox user and won't ever get to use those badass hairstyles.

I think it is The Adventures of Chuck Norris DLC, or quite possibly, Mass Effect: Commander Hudson's story DLC.mrbeavis19 wrote...

Maybe we might hear news at the end of the countdown about the Liara DLC, it is not outside the realm of possibility.
That would be the best time to give us something, people would but even more comics in preperation and interest would be at it's highest.
No clue what it would be for DA, Leliana romance pack?

Me too. I'm on xbox. I'm pretty happy with my new femshep I'm taking through ME1. But she's got the shoulder length hair that is tucked behind her ears. Its honestly the best I could do with the limited options.

Two weeks tomorrow, Justin. Can't wait for more Liara!
If the Liara DLC is as shallow as you fear then I'll eat my hat. I firmly believe that it won't be, and we'll get substantial Liara content with plenty of emotional, deep and heartrending dialogue with extra lines and a scene if Liara is your LI.

Same thing in the J.P Morgan, FDIC, and WaMu Lawsuit, the Justice Department wouldn't have stepped in to protect WaMu shareholders if they didn't think it was possible, governments and companies do not try to attempt the impossible and waste resources.
I can't wait to be able to comfort Liara and help her, at the very latest, I would assume we would hear news in Redemption #4 or just after.
Liara needs all the love she can get and more (while also completely deserving it).

It is free, but that doesn't mean it should fall apart while it's being played...
Liara gives me the strength to endure this shoddy workmanship.

There's only one chance that a Liara DLC, if it even exists, could be proper as far as I can see: Only if they had done what many suspect with DLC anyway, and had developed it together with the main game, but left out to sell it later. Kind of like Shale for DA (though it wasn't THAT great either). The move would be highly questionable, but it's the only chance I see for anything meaningful, and I would probably buy it against better judgement.

I actually consider it impossible for the Liara DLC to be anything but substantial, BioWare would waste time and resources setting up a wonderful, emotional storyline for no reason. That is no how any company works.

Actually, if all the Liara fans are satisified with the Liara DLC, imagine how the whole fanbase's customer loyalty would be to the Mass Effect series? We'd definatly be confident in them putting an awesome ending to the romance in ME3 because of what they did in a like, 7 hour length DLC.
I know all of us here would definatly be excited for ME3 if that happened. It would be a sound business move to make sure that the Liara DLC is awesome for the large fanbase we've picked up so far.
Hell, the Liara DLC will probally be their greatest DLC in terms of sales.
On the otherhand, if the Liara DLC is horrible, I can guarantee most of us here will probally not be excited for ME3 at all. Hell, we'd probally get it for the actual game and the main plot but the Liara romance will be disapointing as hell. And some of us won't get ME3 out of spite for what they did to Liara and I bet Tali fan's will be questioning themselves saying things like "Hey, I wonder if there going to do the same thing to us if Tali's the new most popular romance? I mean awhile ago Liara was the most popular and looked what they did to her!"
Thus some Tali fans might be expecting to be screwed over too. Sure, they probally won't but it could happen. And the Tali Fanbase probbaly consists of 40% of the people that have played Mass Effect.
