The most likely, will be pickup from end game, so I'll start there.
Liara emails you and says she has made a breakthrough and needs your help. Shepard races to Illium and there is a conversation about how she knows where the Shadow Broker will be, and if they hurry in Normandy, they can get to him/her/it. Paragon can kind of warn Liara, that cold revenge isn't the answerer, but give in, and tell her, that if this will help her, then lets go. Renegade can be like, lets go kick some ass, the Shadow Broker needs to die.
I'd like to see Liara and Shepard then talk on the Normandy while on the way, and we get Liara to explain some things, Why she wants to take out the Shadow Broker, what she has been doing for two years, and what was the details of the deal she made with TIM.
Then they land wherever, and we get just Liara and Shepard for the mission. Fighting mixed with some talking, and Liara opening up more, at talk points thru the mission. Liara telling Shepard what she's been thru, and Shepard comforting her. This goes on, till we reach the Shadow Broker.
Cue drama and fight. I'll leave this to more skillful writers.
Shadow Broker dead, Shepard can harden or soften Liara, who then becomes Renegade like Shepard, or we see all the walls Liara built up shatter, making her break down and cry, followed by Shepard comforting her, pulling her back, and helping her become more like her old self, making her Paragon.
Renegade Liara becomes the new Shadow Broker, and helps Shepard in ME3 in that role. She goes back to Illium. Paragon Liara, gives up her Information Broker life, and goes back with Shepard to the Normandy. To be a squadmate in ME3.
If you take Liara back to the Normandy, then we get to talk to her, reaffirm that they love each other. Shepard asks Liara for forgiveness for not being there for her, and Liara asks Shepard for forgiveness for the whole Cerberus thing. They work things out, and become Bondmates again. They end with looking into each others eyes, hold hands, kiss, and meld. Fade to black without implied sex. Liara is then on the ship staying in your cabin, and you can cuddle and stuff with her. Perfect, would be also getting to talk with her. Telling and showing her things you found in ME2 while she was gone.
If they redo the whole thing. Then basicly the same, expect you do a few small missions, leading up to the big take down. All Shepard and Liara only, and all with talking points in the missions. Slowly getting Liara to open up, with Shepard comforting her along the way.

All in all a nice idea but to some degree a bit unlikely, the way I see it most DLC will play pre endgame unless we are talking about an expansionscmadsen wrote...
The perfect DLC for me...I'm not sure if I want a total redo of the reunion or a pickup from end game.

While I'm always doubtfull that the SB can just casually gunned down the idea of influencing Liara is always nice though your ending about her either giving up or continueing her criminal career would I guess again create some variables and I think we already have enough of them for ME3.
But again nonetheless a nice setup, but I'm feeling Bioware wont go that far.

When I was playing the firewalker missions I was thinking, “but we killed all the geth, why are they attacking here again, hey Legion, what’s up with your bros?” Then in all the date pads about the collectors and stuff, “these guys were clearly not keeping up with current events, I blow their base and ship to hell.”
So I think any DLC will have to be post game, for it to fit in with how we may have played the game. It’s a tricky one. Let’s say you don’t help Liara with all her hacking quests. And there is some DLC about the SB, but you had to help Liara for it to make any scenes. Should you still be able to play the DLC you paid 560 MSP for? Or have to restart a new game?

That said, on the one hand, redoing that whole meeting on Illium would be good, it's really bad as it is now. They need to at the very least explain why it was like that.
On the other hand, it does work better to just do after the endgame.

Thats not really what I meant, take Dragon age all of its DLC is set before the death of the Archdemon doesnt matter if you killed him already or not,I wouldnt expect players to start fresh for one DLC and as it seems neither does Bioware I guess thats the main reason the playing after ending was added to ME2 and DAShadowcat101 wrote...
I’ll have to disagree there Noxis6. I think any DLC should be post endgame. The whole firewalker just proved that to me. I have beaten the game a number of times and I’m not going to start the whole game again (25-40 hours) just to play with a new gun or a short 45 minute DLC mission.

Well I’m not really a fan of DLC full stop. Make a game and make a game right first time. Don’t start adding little things here and there after it’s out as DLC. Just save it all up for the next big game. But that’s me.
Well I would lie if I say I'm a big fan of DLC and personally I would prefer expansion packs or at least Broken steel type DLC,but Bioware has given nothing that indicates they are capable of doing any good DLC at all, granted Bring down the sky wasnt that bad,but beyond that not much.
I didnt have high expectations for the Firewalker DLC but they even managed to stay beneath them.

Read my new post in the fanclub about Hammerhead. I tried to break it down as I saw it. That doesn't excuse it by any means, but hey, maybe some thought did go into it.
Read it,no offence, but I think you read a bit too much into it,as it is the protheans are pretty much got sidelined in ME2 or to put it better the storyline with Shepard and the Cipher, actually the fact that Shepard has a prothean mind and can understand their language is never mentioned at all.
