Couldn’t hurt to take a look then, somebody.

I was just thinking. By ME3 most players would have make the choice of going either paragon or renegade right. Couldn’t this be reflected by your party members in how they dress? I know we can change their out fits in ME2. But they are just different; I don’t really see them as paragon or renegade. I would love to see this in ME3. Unlock Liara a Mad Max outfit or something very formal depending on how your main character went. On top if the normal costumes.

Ooh, and if we make Jack a Paragon she actually wears... clothes! :P

Seriously, though, I want to go back to the armor-wearing days for missions by ME3, but it'd be a neat idea regardless, especially if the armor is cosmetic rather than actually having an effect on stats, for party members.

What they should have done is give the companions their clothes on board the Normandy, and let us choose armor for them during combat. If people want to see them fighting in their clothes, throw in that option too. Enforcing one casual outfit (plus one retexture) is just one more thing that makes no sense and makes the game feel dumbed down.

Changing the outfit based on paragon/renegade wouldn't make much sense either. I already can't stand the facial scars thing. This is not Star Wars, as much as I like that too. But ME 1 had this refreshing attitude of trying to portray a "realistic" 21st century. Too much of that was thrown away already.

You would not be forced to use the paragon or renegade costumes. Just something to unlock depending what way you went... but i guess they have enough on the plate without that sort of stuff. For one. Making Liara a key character in ME3  Image IPB

I have to agree, this was suppose to be a "more" realistic feel for a game. The whole scarring if your Renegade really takes away that feel. So did the coming back to life thing, but if they have the technology and are willing to waste a lot of money on bringing Shepard back the "reality-ness" hangs by a thread, but a thread is still a thread.

I am a Star Wars freak and so are my friends, but every single one of them including me thought it was kinda cheesy.

True.  (Plus the KotOR explanation for the looks has been kind of retconned by Revenge of the Sith as it is.)

I still say that if Liara is a squad member, she's wearing Colossus X medium armor.  She's making enough money, she can afford it, and if not my Shepard will buy it for her ;)

Tali's poor immune system is the probably the only thing saving her from the land of fishnet stockings and nipple tassels in ME2. I seriously do hope they bring back armor. Or give Liara her Redemption armor or something like that if they split it with combat/casual. At the very least she should be professional like Mordin and have a practical professional looking uniform.

It doesn't make sense anyway that a character suddenly wears different clothes just because you helped them with a mission. Stuff like that breaks the immersion in my opinion. It was a lazy way of making the loyalty thing "matter", when it should have made a difference in the game (beyond deciding if the character lives or dies in the end). And I don't think it should depend on being paragon or renegade either.

It would be perfectly fine if for example a character wears different clothes (for you) when in a romance. Or if Wrex could wear his armor from ME 1. Or if you could at least buy the clothes as a gift. Jack for example apparently can't afford it, so there. If that's too much work, then just give us a list to choose from.

But don't break the immersion with stuff that only happens outside of the game. If something doesn't even make sense in the context of the game, it shouldn't be there. My opinion at least.

I still can't believe the game shipped with only four stupid outfits for Shepard. I kept looking for the clothing store each time I visited a new place my first time through. And the first time I did Samara's mission where I got to be sex vampire bait I was all excited to see what awesome clubbing outfit you were given for that...then severely disappointed when I showed up in my Dr. Chakwas outfit.

It's especially annoying because all access to those other costumes just requires one line of text in that ini file. Yet the game ships with only four, and two of those of peon Cerberus lackey costumes as if being forced to work with Cerberus isn't bad enough half your closet is full of their logo'd merchandise.

I'm just SO very glad that Liara isn't dressed like a slattern when you go to see her on Illium. That was like the only thing they managed to get right with her.

Exactly... seriously, they're aiming in the wrong direction with the clothing packs.  They should come out with a) an armor pack for everyone who doesn't have it, and B) a couple of new outfits for Shepard.  God, if I'd known I'd be in Cerberus uniform I'd've gone back to change into those overalls.

Indeed. The only reason I can imagine is that they want to sell additional outfits in the future. If there's already many choices, it may decrese sales numbers. Unfortunately a large enough number will buy, so the scheme works and everyone has a worse game for it.

Always thought it was fun trying to get everyone in same manufacturer armor in me1, ie: all Scorpion or all Colossus etc, Being able to alter the color in me2 is ok, but still your squadmates look like last years goodwill mercs

Wow, I did not think this would be so hard. Trying to get a reference image of sheapard dying at the start of ME2 for a new picture I’m planning. But there is nothing. I guess I’ll just have to use a video off YouTube.

lol would like one of the Shadow Broker too... that could be hard to find. Luckily there are lots of Liara around here.

Oooh, new Liara picture on the way, Shadow? Can't wait! If it contains Shepard dying, then I'd imagine it'd be a pretty emotional pic for Liara. Your art is fantastic, particularly your Liara work.

Here's a lovely picture of the beautiful Liara in the Prothean bubble to start the day:

Well, what kind of picture would you need? I'm sure someone could help out if it leads to some nice new fan art.

I found something that will do on youtube for sheapard, lol took a screen shot of it. Its crap as but it should be enough it give me an idea.

What could help is a shot of Liara looking scared, afraid or terrified. Can’t say I see too many of them. Apart from comics and other fan art. Nothing in the game is like that that i have seen. Image IPB

What is it exactly that you need a reference of? Is it when Shep's armour begins to lose it's air? Do you need a reference of the armour itself?
