I've never done drugs either and it isn't worth it. I use to be a Skate Border but after I saw a dude bust his nuts on a school hand bar then that was the end of that. lol

About what?!

If you're a true Liara fan you'll realise she's suffering and needs Shepard's love and support, something which we currently can't do because we're being artificially prevented from doing that in game.

Wait for the Liara DLC, my friend. We'll be able to comfort and console Liara fully in that, and she'll open up to Shepard and reveal how much she's hurting and how she's been emotionally tormented.

Of course, if you're seeking some contrived justification for dumping Liara, then be my guest. I don't care.

That thing was the most useless partymember I've ever had just as a sidenote

On the SB,that doesnt prevent him from being an AI that uses robots as avatars,also I'm not sure if Bioware wants to do this there are enough hostile AIs already.

A Thorian like thing would be interesting,as for the races we have well,human is definitly out of the race,Asari would fit because of the lifespan,Salarian would work with a bit construction,as I see it females basicly rule salarian society,so the SB could be one all her offspring get imprinted to her giving her loyal followers for protection,the problem with the short lifespan isnt really one if the head female passes it on as a title and Salarian minds work fast so they would be up to the task,the only real flaw here Bioware was so far too lazy to make female models for several races so I doubt they would make one for a potential DLC.
For the other races Thurian would work although would depend on how long the SB is around exactly and Krogan is pretty much a no go.

just to throw a few more stuff out in the open

Welcome to the club Cartims, we here have faith that love will win out and we discuss this situation to keep the faith and you can bet dimes to dollars if BW messes up Liara and Shepard's romance, they will have a major riot, mass march, vaporized buildings etc etc

Had a thought last night. What if Harbinger "assumes control" of Liara for a final boss fight in ME3? Something tells me it would be easier to do with an asari than another species. And it would certainly fall into the Bioware style of drama.


*sigh* Why can't I think of any positive possible scenarios for Liara in Mass 3? Seriously, it's like my head is stuck in the "bad outcome" state of predictions. Need, Something. Positive....

Not long now until Redemption #4, folks!



Can't wait to see more Liara, and find out just what's happening with her in ME2. I absolutely love everything she's doing for Shepard, the sacrifices she's making. It's heartwarming.

Wait until Liaras DLC, my friend! There's no reason to be so pessimistic, BW have got big future plans for Liara and she will have a large role in ME3. She's the only squaddie that can't die, after all.

We'll get intimate and tender scenes and dialogue with Liara in her DLC. I'm sure of it.

Liara would have had to be implanted with Reaper "Tech" as Mordin explains to Shepard about the Protheans, Liara hasn't been on or near any Reapers, dead or alive as far the story goes, it took time for Benezia to become indoctrinated, weeks or months as Rana Thanoptis explains.

I dont think thats how it works to me it seems like the victim has to be implanted,of course no one stops Bioware from doing an LI gets indoctrinated.
Also my money is on they pull a good old heroic sacfrice for Shepard at least in one ending.

It is heartbreaking the hell Liara is going through right now, she hasn't abandoned Shepard or slept with someone else.
All she has done since Shepard died is try to get her love back and what she had to endure during those times changed her (not permanently), she has so many different emotions going through her head, that she doesn't know what do anymore.
She is exhausted, depressed, and focusing all of her hurt and anger on the SB (not that he doesn't deserve it).

She hasn't been happy in so long that she forgot what it felt like when Shepard came back, you could even see the old Liara break through her protective barriers and smile again.

Liara DLC cannot come soon enough! (but the longer the wait the more Beautiful Blue Goddess we will have) I want to comfort her and get rid of her negative emotions so badly. :wub:<3:wub:

I can't for the life of me remember what she's saying when she smiles like that, though! I think it might be when you first express attraction to her, and Liara happily says "I knew it! And I knew you felt the same way about me!"



I love the romance dialogue with Liara. She's just adorable!

Hm I dont know as said above its not really how the whole "assuming control" thing seems to work the reapers seem only be able to control persons that are implanted with their tech,which again opens the question should shepard really be implanted with reaper tech why didnt Harbinger take over,of course there may be other requirements like the degree of implimentation or indoctrination.
