Hey guys, just going to take you a little off topic… lol well not really, it’s still about Liara, but more the Shadow Broker. Some of you may know I’m trying to Draw a new pic of Liara. But I want to have the shadow Broker in it. Only thing Is I don’t know what he looks like, no one dose. But I can do an artists impression. Anyway. What do you think he would look like?

Here is my thinking. The Shadow Broker has been around for some time right? So it would stand to reason that he/she is a race that lives a long time. That leaves only the Asari and Krogan and maybe the Volus, Elcor or Hanar. But he/she would also have to be good with people and numbers. Cutting it down to only the Asari, Volus and Hanar. Then there is all the dealing with Politics and secrets, and what would not fit with the Hanar in general, unless it’s a lone Wolf.

Please take the poll and or have your say.

Reaper seems to be missing or an AI created by Reapers. Or Garrus. Or as someone mentioned before, something like the Thorian. An anchient creature that predates the Protheans.

Although, Volus only live up to 30 years. It can't be a Volus.

ah, yeah i didn't know about the Volus. so i just added it anyway. AI maybe, but i think an organic would still need to be in there. i had an idea of a cyborg too.

Also, I doubt a Krogan would have the brains for it. Hell, one of  the few intelligient Krogan we've seen is Wrex, but if he was a Human and had that intelligience, he'd be considered average in Intelligience. Oh and that charmingly polite Krogan on Illuim. I'm still shocked at how polite he was.

I don’t think so myself, not with their superiority complex. But you never know… it would sort of fit really….

Why would a reaper plan against his own kind?

Plus, that would be the smallest reaper ever.

I think it's pretty logical to assume Reapers have Reaper foot soldiers to be deployed from normal Reapers. Otherwise, we can't really shoot at them with our gun, can we? Plus in ME3 if they didn't we'd have no soldiers to kill.

Reaper/Collector use the Shadow broker for information, SB was suppose to sell Shepard's corpse to them, wouldn't make sense to buy from yourself, Reapers don't envolve themselves in understanding the races they want to harvest, they just want to kill em.

Why not show him as a silhouette or something, so it keeps up the mystery and there's little chance your picture will be rendered void when we inevitably find out the Shadow Broker's true identity?

I know. But just nothing but shadows seems like a cheap way out. And it would be totally cool if it was close to the real thing. That’s why I’m putting it out there, it see what other people think and come up with.

Well given that Shepard is now also a fusion of organic and synthetic parts,you could also label him/her a reaper with a little phantasy,could even more apply if Cerberus really used reaper tech in Project Lazarus,but that just as a sidenote.

I agree that the SB is quite unlikely to be a reaper,if he was he should know about the Collectors and I dont get that impression from the comics,also why would he want to sell Shepards corpse to them instead of just turning it over,unless the reapers have some sort of infighting or rivalery going on as to who "reaps" the most organics or something thats quite hard to believe

I still think the Shadow Broker is a Keeper Queen type of character. Think Collector General. When the Reapers lost control of the Keepers, it kind of "woke up" and maybe its "job" was keeping the Keepers working and watching the galaxy, letting the Reapers know when it was ready for harvest. It didn't "know" how to do anything else then what it was programed for, so that's what it does now just not under control of the Reapers anymore.

Wasnt that pretty much Sovereigns job,wachting the galaxy and then send the signal,as for the Keepers they dont really have a mind of their own,also I dont know if we really should try to force the reapers in the whole SB thing,even without them he is a good enough villain
