Yeah, I hope there will be emotional dialogue from Shepard about how she would have wanted more than anything to be with Liara those two years and be there to love and cherish her as she should have. And she is sorry how much pain Liara had to go through without her love to be there for her.
Don't get me started on Joker, lol.
That SoB is the only reason Shepard couldn't be there for her love.
Joker have no support in the Liara thread poor guy
but he only have him self to blame or the ME writing team.
Yep, he sure as hell doesn't have any support from us.
If ME2 had gone the way it was supposed to, when Liara came to get Shepard, we would have gotten a "F*ck Joker, that ****** made his decision, let's get out of here love" conversation option at the beginning.
Liara would have no emotional torment and she would be happy with Shepard.
Making my way through the last hour of posts -- only
three pages to go! -- but I keep seeing this kind of remark, and I keep groaning.
Seriously, that option would and
should fill anyone's Renegade meter in one shot, Stubbs. The responsibility of the captain of a vessel is to get everyone else off before them. Be it boat, ship, plane, or starship. (See Sully Sullenberger with Flight 1549 -- last thing he did was walk the plane before leaving it to make sure he was the last person off.)
We're allowed to be annoyed at Joker, and I'm so sure next playthough, I'm giving the down option -- though I'd like to be able to say "You're killing me, Joker -- LITERALLY" and make him take the hint. But seriously, if this situation had to happen, Shepard has to go and force him into the escape pod, that's her
job. (Then again, did it
have to happen? I'm less than convinced, even if I do like the game in general, the main story is the definition of 'forced'.)
