I like taking Liara to the Citadel and hear her banter on different things. Also, my Femshep treats the BBG like a goddess..lol. When Shepard was given the opportunity to aquire some Colossus armor in the BDTS mission, she gave it to Liara.

Oh no! See that's why it's painful for me to play as DudeShep. It's not his accent, just the delivery . . . finally got used to playing with him, then someon etold me the model, Mark Vanderloo is the same model the movie Zoolander makes fun of. Yeah, I can almost never play DudeShep anymore without Ben Stiller popping into my head.
Besides, there's only three f/f Bw romances that I can stand, so may as well take advantage of it while I can! ;p

I can't play Femshep because I know in my heart if I was reborn with boobs, there's no way I could save the galaxy. I'd be too busy at home enjoying myself.

If you wait till the very end to get Liara, there is an option to ask the Krogan what he wants with her, that may trigger some comment from Liara, but I've only done Paragon with that scene the one time I did it, she just looks at Shepard and you say Kill him

My first playthrough (which I consider my canon one) I stuck with Liara.
2nd one I stayed single in ME1 & romanced Tali in ME2
my 3rd (femshep) is still halfway through ME1 cause my Xbox is dead
