I just hope there's a hint of DLC in it. Even if it's just a "Coming later this year".

and I hope they're gonna do better than "later this year"
I wouldn't mind "end of next week", but realisticly speaking, end of May would be fine by me ;-)

And then Jack, how do you feel about her were she a f/f romance?
I know you say you like her a lot as well.
Which is kind of funny, as they are both kind of opposites.
I've wondered the same...I guess I like all types of women. I am actually currently romancing Jack with a Female Shepard...one that did not romance anyone in ME1. This is the only one I'll complete in ME2, as I don't care much for either Miranda or Tali as a romance choice.

This is going to be a good week. Tuesday is Kasumi, Wednesday is Redemption #4. Hopefully we'll hear something on Liara DLC, then it would be the best week.
Oh yes, I hope we hear something about the Liara DLC soon after Redemption #4 is released.
I just know it's going to be when I'm away next week though.

I am not expecting much in the major revelation department. How much can you fit into 20 pages?

Not a lot, especially in a comic.

I agree, but I guess you don't have to tell us, but BioWare

If they bother to move her out of her office at all,in case of a DLC I doubt she will be back as a squadmate even temporarly, well I stated it many times I'm not holding my breath when it comes to Bioware DLC

How about
"You want Shepard?"
"Yes, of course, what else would I be doing here? Who are you by the way?"
"Irrelevant....I can help you, just...uh...sign this and you can have Shepard."
"What the? What am I signing here?"
"Nothing serious, you're just selling your soul and thus giving the writers permission to change your character completely...no big deal"
"If this it what it takes to get Shepard back, I'll sign it."
"....Excellent."
This would take like 2 pages

I'm very confident it'll be substantial, and Liara will be accompanying us on a mission, and that we'll be able to engage in deep, emotional dialogue with her with extra lines or scenes if she's your LI.

There are many indicators to a substantial, emotional DLC that BioWare has put there themselves, I see no reason why they would suddenly back down on doing the proper DLC no matter what.
There shouldn't be any pressure from EA (except to make the deadline), EA has already made their inital profit off of the actual game so BioWare should be free to give us an amazing Liara DLC.
I love The Beautiful Blue Goddess!
Only a couple more days to the comic now? Can't wait!

Also, who's to say that there won't be some DLC featuring Ash and Kaidan at some point? Just because we haven't heard about it, doesn't mean it's never going to happen or doesn't exist.
Also, and I hate saying this because it really is horrible to the poor Ash or Kaidan fans, but I don't think it's in BW's interest to be "fair". They gave Liara Redemption, after all, whereas no sotry at all has been told for Ash or Kaidan's activities in the two years Shep has been gone.

What about Ashley and Kaidan fans? Is it fair that the Liara relationship gets extra development in DLC and not theirs? I just don't see the writers focusing in on deepening one relationship and not the others. They could work Ash and Kaidan into the DLC and deepen their relationship, but I doubt they will do this for all three b/c of time constraints. Also, fans of the ME2 LIs will complain if they don't get their share of romance dlc.
Its certainly not fair, but how do you want to get Ashley/Kaidan into this without making it look artificial,so far they have nothing to do with the whole Liara/SB story arc.
Of course they could feature in some alliance related DLC later,or maybe there will be no Liara DLC at all,yes I saw the file to but I wouldnt see as completely set in stone right now, maybe they might take the whole thing into the rumored expansion pack, which would provide additional content for the ME2,too unless they pull an Awakening of course.
But thats just highly hypothetical

Well, BioWare said they will put out a major Expansion that bridges ME2 to ME3, I assume Liara would be there again and Ashley/Kaidan would be in there as well.jlb524 wrote...

BioWare doesn't seem to mind making fans wait for things, so they will probably make the Ashley/Kaidan fans wait without any indicators.
BioWare knew that the ME2 characters were all expendable, they are just going to have to go the, "F*ck you ME2 LI fans" route and see what happens.
If they had to cater to them, they would have to record 6 different lines for the ME2 LIs just for every DLC, I think it is unrealistic for them to do that.
I am pretty sure any DLC/Expansion will just cater to the ME1 LI fans, for one thing, it is easier, and another thing, the ME1 LIs will probably have a intricate part to play in the ME3 story. (Especially the Lovely Liara).

I agree that BW doesn't necessarily care about 'fairness' when it comes to stuff like this...they'll do what they're going to do. People will expect it, though, and there will be some angry fans on the forums if only Liara gets more romantic content via dlc. I guess BW can just ignore all that like they did with the Bazaar drama.
Then again, people have speculated that Liara's role was small in ME2 just to be fair to fans of the other LIs. Who knows for sure what they feel about this....

I say they go through with the romance pack idea, and don't make it ME2 romance exclusive. I mean the Liara DLC wouldn't just be an LI only based DLC, it would be for her story arc, LI or not. That only makes sense considering how centric she is to the plot. I think it would hurt the least amount of feelings to keep the Liara DLC more towards the SB and less about LI, and let a Romance Pack handle the rest.
