I don't know how you all can be so optimistic. I try and cannot do it. Maybe I've just been disappointed too much in my own life to see the positive side of these things.

They are taking some good care of the Liara DLC. If it was a rushed afterthought I'm sure it would have been announced and rolled out already. People need to remember that Liara is a very huge character in Shepard's story, LI or not. Stuff like Kasumi and the Hammerhead are just that. A side mission tank and a mercenary. People are expecting too much from stuff like that.

I guess what keeps me somewhat optimistic about additional Liara content is that it will be focused at the very least on Liara's situation in some way. Hopefully that would include the relationship, but if not, then at least maybe we can ease some of the burdens she's been carrying these last two years. Just a chance to be there for her and to let her know she isn't alone anymore would make me feel a bit better. I feel so bad being forced to leave her on Illium.

The Hammerhead focus was on the vehicle and Kasumi is all about a new squadmate. There isn't any "meta" type focus for Liara, it should be all about stuff to do with Liara. I desperately want to help her so much.

Its hard, we have Les on one hand being very positive, then you being so negative.:crying:

I agree, its hard to be optimistic, I really worry that the DLC will be a big let down.

@Cartims Some of the Fanfic is really exceptional, was up til 2:30am lastnight, almost wish some were completed books, hell wish some of them wrote ME.

I'm also far from optimistic as far as this DLC is concerned. Not because I'm generally pessimistic, rather realistic. If you look at BioWare and EA, and their recent games and DLCs, there's just nothing there that leads me to believe a proper Liara DLC is on the way. Ignoring that will only increase your disappointment in the end. I know, I already read the writing all over the wall, that ME 2 would probably be far below the standard that ME 1 set. Still I trusted in BioWare, and told myself it had to be great, and started the game with very high expectations still. And then it went like this: :lol::happy::mellow::?:unsure:<_<
