I not sure whether to buy it or not... Gonna read some revies/player reports before.  Maybe someone want to tell me his/her experiences with the DLC?

The no dialog wheel doesnt bother me so much. Zaeed had plenty of dialog, without the wheel. More so then most of your other squaddies. Its just a bit more of a pain to hear all his dialog.

as to refer to new DLC:
well i found out i have like 4k BW points so if Liara DLC would be epic-sized it would cost 3k points MAX so to kill ME-themed boredom i may download new DLC to have something to do evenin by weekend

I'm not buying the DLC. No dialogue wheel tells me it can't be worth it. Just like I correctly assumed Awakening wouldn't be worth it when I heard it had no romances. But who knows, maybe I'm wrong this time. If credible reviews praise it, and if the play time is long enough, I might buy it. I don't mind reading any spoilers about it though, in fact I need them to decide.

The previews I read said it will take about an hour and a half to complete. I don't care about the dialogue wheel so much, as a previous poster mentioned Zaeed had more dialogue than some squadmates with dialogue wheels. No dialogue wheel means one thing, she's not romancable and that doesn't matter to me anyway.

Hmm, if the Kasumi DLC is indeed an hour and a half of playtime, then that really does give me hope that Liara's DLC will be deep, emotional and substantial with romance content. In fact, it makes me think that it's almost a certainty. Liara's DLC will have time, care and attention focused on it's development, in Liara it features a character far more important to Shepard's story and the Mass Effect trilogy as a whole, the whole story arc is far more important and integral to the Mass Effect trilogy.



Plus, Liara is a hugely important character in the trilogy, who loves and is devoted to Shepard deeply, and who's current character arc has more far reaching consequences and implications than Kasumi's. Yep, I'm massively confident that Liara's DLC is going to be deep, emotional, substantial and contain romantic content. I can't wait, I want more of the BBG!

Hm I wouldnt give that much about the estimated gametimes in previews,I guess this will largely depend on what level of difficulty you play on.

While I agree Zead had more to say then some other crewmembers the lack of a dialogue wheel is still a negative point,it would be nice for Shepard being able to talk back romance or ot

Zaeed could be an interesting character, but he's like one of those dolls: You press a button, and he utters a few sentences. That's such a huge step back and loss of atmosphere, I can only excuse it because he was obviously unfinished and released for free. Large amount of text or no, when I know that my Shepard can't say anything, I have little interest in Zaeed's monologues. If they want my money, they better not cut corners like that.

I guess they don't want to pay the Shepard voice actors, but I'd rather pay more and get a proper DLC. It's a matter of principle too. Don't forget after all, that if this DLC model continues to be profitable, a possible Liara DLC will probably be equally cheap, short and bad.

Just like everyone who buys the comics rewards BioWare/EA for botching the in-game scene. It is all connected.

I believe it was developed concurrently with the rest of the game, that it utilised all of the resources and time, care and attention as the rest of the game in development, and that it has always intended to be a part of the main game and showcases Liara's full ME2 role, it's just that it had to be held back from release to allow Redemption to be completed, and to avoid spoiling it.

No, the whole thing seems very unintresting to me so I'll be saving my money. Don't really need another team mate as well, there is enough dead weight on the Normandy.

Somewhat related.... I got a second copy of issue 3 today for some reason, tfaw must have gone crazy.
Will be intresting to see what happens in the last issue, see if they can come up with a shocking  and interesting end.

Indeed LD, I'm hoping it provides more insight into Liara's situation and predicament in ME2, and shows us if TIM is indeed manipulating her and using her like a tool.

I guess that would make sense for it to be developed with the actual game, I was concerned with BioWare's frame of mind back then on how the DLC should end (Liara's audio files either indicate her becoming the SB or leaving Shepard behind until ME3).
But, even if they did, it's not like they couldn't make changes to it before they released it. That is another reason, in a weird way, the wait for Liara DLC has actually been a good thing. BioWare has had a chance to change anything that might of been wrong or upsetting to us Liara Lovers.
