Sure, I was talking in general with how that is probably perceived by people.  Not dictating what anyone else should or should not wear.  The asari just don't have any gender roles so they wouldn't have any "uniforms" for them, like most humans would associate a dress with being girly.  The asari attitude definitely seems to have set the standards in the galactic community with what is considered the default look.  Gianna moans about having to wear a dress, but that is what everyone else in that situation wears.

I'm waiting on Kasumi as the mission sounds too short. How Bioware deals with the Liara DLC (if it comes) will determine if I buy Kasumi.

Ok, just finished this Kasumi thing and my review LOL Femshep does NOT move well in a dress, I mean gezz, so as long as one stands still sure, she looks hot I suppose but walk? like a fish outa water lol

It is for what you pay. RE5 was wroth it for DLC. Kasumi DLC comes up short. i dont know why they dont ship this stuff with the game. it would just make it all the more awesome.

That said i like the Kasumi mission it has it all, its just the fact you have to pay extra...

If i have pay the same for the same, but with Liara..... i will........... but not going to be happy about it

I don't think anyone was trying to start up, or even hint at, any kind of lipstick versus butch stuff. Your Shepard can wear whatever you want them to or put themselves anywhere, or nowhere, on that whole scale. I like dresses and shoes, so I force all my Femsheps to adore them as well. And it doesn't go any further than my own characters.

That particular dress though is sort of out of the normal for ME2 or ME1 for that matter, I mean the type you see on Liara is a normal dress for the time or era, this one is out of place. I'd rather Liara wear it just so I can peal it off her

It does seem to be a futuristic version of the timeless "little black dress" though.  Not completely out there at all for a social situation like a party.  Poor Shepard doesn't seem to get invited to many parties, always lumbering around in her armor, only taking it off on the Normandy.
I like it for the novelty if nothing else.  I'm sure even Liara has different clothing apart from her field scientist outfit and information broker office wear.  That's why I was so annoyed when you didn't get a special outfit as part of your sex vampire bait mission.  People wear different things in different situations.
