Ok, here's a question for you all, let's just suppose you were sitting down with Liara to create out of ALL the squadmates you have had in me1 and me2 and could only have 6, what 6 would Liara think best to have onboard? which 6 would you think Liara would get along with best?
Well I don’t know about what Liara would want. But I would want a group that would work well as a team and could cover all the bases. Also dose the 6 include Liara or not?
1:Liara
2: Garrus
3:Tali
4:Grunt
5:Mordin

Garrus and Tali are a given, Liara knows them and they have good skills. Samara would probably be a safe bet. Ashley, while there *could* be tensions between the two, Liara would recognize her as being valuable and familiar. Grunt, because Liara would recognize that you have to have a tank and Grunt is dedicated to Shepard. As a fellow scientist, Liara will most likely get along w/ Mordin quite well.
In all honesty, the only ones I could see Liara having major problems w/ would be Miranda and Jacob, because of her past history w/ Cerberus. She would probably be wary of Jack, but not intimidated by her.

Well first of all you are an ass to romance Jack and then turn on her, frankly, but moreover she'll probably split your head open.

Garrus: worked with him before, also a good solider.
Tali:worked with her before, a genius engineer.
Mordin: pragmatic but mission oriented, also seems to be mentally balanced.
Miranda: kind of like an emotionally needy Shepard, should be ok once her need for external validation of self-worth is tied to Shepard's approval, even better if TIM is exterminated like the vermin he is.
Jacob: excellent ace in the hole for any Virmire situation repeats, no angst over who gets vaporized!
I'd take Samara, but I'd be worried at some level she was keeping track of what we were doing, and sometimes we need to do some questionable things. So Liara doesn't really need Samara knocking on her door in a few centuries.

I'd like to see how the interact, especially IF you give TIM the base and how Liara feels about it.
To be honest, even on my Paragon playthroughs I always give him the Base. I have a feeling Liara won't be pleased with that turn of events...

I don't think Liara would like Miranda either, but I also think that Liara would recognize that Miranda can get things done. We're not going out for drinks or anything. That "Jacob who?" thing is exactly why I'd take him. He's just there like some piece of furniture and if someone needs to die at some point, well no one is going to care if it's him. I'd feel bad if someone with any personality or worth died, so we bring Jacob along!Unata wrote...

Wiki/codex
Asari pass through three climacteric life stages, marked by biochemical and physiological changes:
- The Maiden stage begins at birth and is marked by the drive to explore and experience. Most young asari are curious and restless.
- The Matron stage of life begins around the age of 350, though it can be triggered earlier if the individual melds frequently. This period is marked by a desire to settle in one area and raise children.
- The Matriarch stage begins around 700 years of age, or later if the individual melds rarely. Matriarchs become active in their community as sages and councilors, dispensing wisdom from centuries of experience. Their knowledge and guidance may be one reason why Matriarchs are rarely seen outside asari space.

The planet being called the Human Illium...the view from the house, the sunset like on Illium, but how we are outside the city now, a symbol of how we are apart from Liara...the random Asari at a party with nothing but Humans...the artwork and some of the things Kasumi says, you know Liara would love to have seen them...when Kasumi calls the Prothean statue creepy, it reminded me of Liara on Ilos when she says we should take the Mako underground...Kasumi's rose, reminded me of the Blue Rose of Illium, which I always think of as being Liara...the Greybox, and how it is all Kasumi has left, made me think of poor Liara, and how all she had left of Shepard for two years, was the memories from their meld when becoming Bondmates...Kasumi unable to let go of the Greybox and wanting to keep it...getting to choose if Kasumi keeps the Greybox or not, made me think of Liara, and how she couldn't let go either, I let Kasumi keep it.
If I looked harder, I'm sure I could find more, maybe I will when I play thru it again with another character.
