I typically go along w/ Liara wants in her little mini-quest, nodding and saying that I would do anything to help. The last playthrough, I did the opposite. We argued. We fought. And I have to say that I prefer it that way. Much better on an emotional level. I did the mini-quest for her, even though I told her I wouldn't. The big "reveal" was much more rewarding, imo. Just putting it out there.
