EDIT:  Please note, the summary is rough.   I'm giving the basic gist of what happens on each page.  I exclude nuanced dialogue and facial expressions and all of that for the sake of brevity.  Go buy #4 if you want to see every little thing!

Wow exactly what we expected...

So really it doesn't explain the whole attitude change? No offense, but like Miranda says, Feron knew the risks...

I guess they are going for the Dark Side Bastila thing with Liara then.

I knew BioWare wouldn't be that cool.

Lame.

What I'm finding ridiculous is that in the game, Liara says that she "Couldn't let you go..." yet in the comment tells Miranda that she doesn't understand humans' obsession with resurrection, and that it's best to let Shepard go.

Seriously. WTF?!

Still doesn't answer why she went after the body in the first place. Image IPB

I didnt think they were going to mention it in the comic anyways. Hopefully they will reveal something though soon.

I don't get why she wants to rescue Feron. He kept things from her - lied to her as I understand it...fights a bit for her cause and then he suddenly is her friend who needs rescue? That's a bit fast ....

How is Feron a friend anyway? SHe knew him for a week. I consider Conrad Verner a closer friend and I had to pull a gun on dude.

She spends the whole comic obsessed with Shepard, desperately hunting him/her down and deeply in love with Shep and thoroughly disliking Feron, and then suddenly tells Miranda that it's best to let Shepard go and that she considers Feron a friend to rescue.

What the Jesus.

Not only her friend, but now apparently more important to her than Shepard returning from the dead and defeating the SB is now more important to her than the Reaper threat.

Wow, great job BW, I knew you wouldn't let me down. <_<

*that last part was sarcasm incase you didn't notice*

Gosh, badly done. Badly badly done. If I can manage to write a better rationale than that for free, cmon bioware! I can barely read!!!

Well, I feel bummed for my Fem Sheps as they were all loyalists. I guess I will stick it out to ME 3 with them, but all my males dumped both Ashley and Liara.

Wow, this makes me feel hopeless now for a good DLC, or any continuation of a romance with Liara.:crying:

Well, my characters are all going to fall into the warm embrace of Cerberus at least. They never gave up.

THANKS TIM.

I posted a clarification regarding the confusion about Liara's statement about how it might just be better to let things remain as they are, instead of trying to change them, as Cerberus wants to do.

While typing up the summary, I was constantly worried that I might mistype something, or misunderstand something, unintentionally misleading everyone on this board.

SO PLEASE - DON'T CONSIDER MY SUMMARY TO BE COMPREHENSIVE - GO OUT AND BUY THE COMIC FOR YOURSELF!

Well, apparently Liara is really focused after issue 4. Plus she feels like leaving Shep to Cerberus may be as bad as leaving him to teh collectors.

Yeah I'm thinking this was meant to be the final nail in the Liara coffin for ME.

The only tihng they could have done to make the ending of the comic worse was a big sloppy kiss with Liara/Feron.  Aside from that just about every other "worst case scenario" was more or less fulfilled there.

There is no explanation about Liara given, and more contradictory situations arising.  I'm of the mind that BW just didn't care enough to think the whole Liara story through to make it all fit and just wanted to rake in some extra cash with a comic.

God if we HAVE to rescue Feron and she rushes to him while not even giving me a firm handshake when I come back, you know someone isn't invited aboard the Normandy...

So wait, it doesn't explain AT ALL why Liara can't talk to you. Wouldn't the Shadow Broker already KNOW EVERYTHING that she did and your previous relationship with her? WHy would he suddenly care that "OMG THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT PERSONAL THINGS?"

At least if she was working for Cerberus would could blame TIM.
