I posted a clarification regarding the confusion about Liara's statement about how it might just be better to let things remain as they are, instead of trying to change them, as Cerberus wants to do.
While typing up the summary, I was constantly worried that I might mistype something, or misunderstand something, unintentionally misleading everyone on this board.
SO PLEASE - DON'T CONSIDER MY SUMMARY TO BE COMPREHENSIVE - GO OUT AND BUY THE COMIC FOR YOURSELF!
This.

Just quoting myself to make my post more visible - I don't want people to get angry at me if I'm somehow misrepresenting the actual content of the comic through misunderstanding or even mistyping.
EDIT: Grammar.

So wait, it doesn't explain AT ALL why Liara can't talk to you. Wouldn't the Shadow Broker already KNOW EVERYTHING that she did and your previous relationship with her? WHy would he suddenly care that "OMG THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT PERSONAL THINGS?"
At least if she was working for Cerberus would could blame TIM.
I have to read it more closely, but it may have to do with the info feron gave Liara.

I'll double quote ya. I don't want to see you get flakk for any misunderstandings. You were nice enough to give us a preview in the first place.

In a way the Illusive Man was right about Liara. He probably tried to dissuade us from talking to her to prevent Shepard from getting "hurt" and losing focus. Its a sad day when the Illusive Man of all people is a good friend...
I still don't trust him because of the collector ship mission. But there's definitely more there than I was giving credit to, to begin with.

At this point I'd rather cut a deal with the Shadow Broker and at least get some information on the Reapers. Shepard has his/her priorities right. Vengeance or finding a way to deal with extinction...hmm

Well he tries to talk you down from Ashley when you meet her and he does provide a ship psychologist, so obviously he cares to the point where you dont jump off a cliff in emo-depression. I always thought TIM got a bad wrap...but maybe he isn't the ass people make him out to be.

What I'm finding ridiculous is that in the game, Liara says that she "Couldn't let you go..." yet in the comment tells Miranda that she doesn't understand humans' obsession with resurrection, and that it's best to let Shepard go.
Seriously. WTF?!
I agree, BW failed on so many points to this storyline, I'm depressed
Here, have a martini

I agree on those points. I just don't believe in lying to people about missions like that. If he was honest and said "The Collector Ship is sitting offline but we're not sure why" instead of that whole turian business I'd trust him way more.

At this point I wouldn't hold out much for any follow up content coming for ME2 and I doubt she'll be a squadmate in ME3 now. They are clearly trying to just get rid of her.

I have never really criticized the writing of this game, usually always excusing it knowing how difficult it is to get a good story.
In this case, no excuses. This really sucked bad. There were so many opportunities to make this meaningful, complex, but man, cmon!
