*Scratches head*... one thing i don't really get it...
In last part Lili says she need to help a friend so we can assume that this is related to Feron... but that new enemy stuff sounds pretty weird.

She already fought SB so he is out of the picture as "new" because he was her enemy since first issue, TiM?... doubtfull, Collectors/Reapers?...then she would not hesitated to join whit Shepard...
Is then possible that there is one more for now hidden "party" involved in this whole mess or i cant really put together this puzzle in some plausible form?

there's not enough pieces of the puzzle right now to make a picture. It's still one huge mystery.

york, what is the exact dialogue during the body handover? I would like to know so I can make some judgements myself. I don't actually know if she says specifically that Miranda should let Shepard go.

Also, in what context and what is the dialogue like when Liara says something to Feron like "Words aren't the only things that speak the truth."? People seem to misinterpreting that very line, and I want to see what Liara is referring to and what is said immidiately prior to that.

I'm just tired of looking into things more. I've done that in the past (i.e., pre-ME2 release), gotten my hopes up, and have been utterly disappointed. I want them to give this character and her romance its due in the actual narrative of the game, not leave it up to me to come up with my own explanations and expectations that end up being wrong in the end anyways.

Liara, why have you turned away like that?

She saw all the visions of the protheons, the geth, Saren, Vigil, Ilium and yet... what was it that got her like that? WHy'd she stop fighting? I would think she'd be more motivated to join you!

I think we're glossing over a key point, or maybe I just haven't been able to follow the discussion closely enough.... but two years is a long time to rethink one's decisions. Maybe Liara was OK with turning Shepard's body over to Cerberus. But she obviously isn't OK with it now! These cries of "Liara doesn't care" might be true in the immediate aftermath of Redemption. But she obviously had a change of heart since then. She can barely live with herself now.

Thanks for that!  That makes this slightly less depresing:P

Hey, you have no idea how much effort it took for me to sound a teeny-tiny bit hopeful.
It shows how much I care for my fellow Liara fans.

I picked up this line with the new Kasumi DLC.

"Liara: "Liara T'Soni's got quite a reputation. I've done business with her people before. I hear you and she were an item before. I bet it was hard running into her again after all this time.""

They did a minor acknowledgement of the romance from one of your squadies. It's a step in the right direction. I wish more dialogue like that was in the game. It at least shows that BioWare is aware that the romance is still there, rocky or not.

I don't really have any other hope. I try to make it so that my optimism isn't completely basis, and provide evidence and suggestions that are present for my theories. I do honestly believe that what I think will happen.

Miranda:  "You did well, Liara.  We were right to put our faith in you -- Shepard obviously made some very good friends.  I just wish I had better news for you -- We may not be able to restore Shepard after all.  The body is in worse shape than we expected.   There were some preservation systems in the pod, but they were hardly optimal."
Liara:  "Then I don't see the point, Miranda.  Maybe I don't know what human traditions are -- But I really think you should let the dead rest.  This isn't what I brought Shepard back for.  This is almost like -- Like --"
Miranda:  "Like something the Collectors would have done?    We don't know what they would have done, Liara -- Though hopefully the information you brought back may suggest something.  And it might not be as bad as you think -- The Boss is more hopeful about Shepard's prospects.  We're willing to spend everything we've got -- But it will take a very long time, if it works at all.   I wouldn't sit around waiting here."

And then Liara and Miranda talk about whether or not Cerberus will do anything about Feron, and Liara says she's going to go off and try to find out what's become of him.

I admit, it could be taken several ways.  Liara is grasping one of his arms, and has a hand on his shoulder.   He is facing away from her, but there's no real indication of intimacy, if that's the concern.

EDIT:  Grammar.

It's one of her random lines during the game after you get the mission to head to Illium for your dossiers. This DLC was really well done. She's got a ton of dialogue, more than any other character. They covered so many aspects of the game. It's amazing how one little droplet of info or some confirmation goes such a long way.

She does the same thing with all of the other squadmates, though.  For Jack, she says that she thinks Shepard is brave to like her, and that she personally would go anywhere near that part of the ship, based on Jack's reputation.

I haven't played the DLC yet, but its nice to see some acknowledgement! Although I don't approve of this were an item business. Would be nice if BW expanded on what her reputation was and what business Kasumi had done with her.

Past tense doesn't mean anything about the future. You can easily assume that and that's kinda how it's worded. but there's no indication that it's actually over.

I'm still thinking all this over, and I'm not ready to post about it yet. I've been thinking about it since yesterday, and now you see why I didn't post publicly about it. Anyway, all our hopes are on this supposed DLC, but what if all it turns out to be, is Liara asking us to help her save Feron. A few missions from Liara to track him down, save him, and bring him back to Illium, where she stays with him till ME3. You are really sure they won't do that to us now?

I find it extremely odd that she was such a timid & quiet person during me1 , she was always feeling light headed from sharing vision's with shephard , but in me2 she seems a more grown up confident person which is all good , i can see her being a stronger person in me3 .

I mean she does have alot under herself in m2 (in realtion to the Shadow broker)

But yeah ! me 3 couldnt come quicker lol

Any thought's ? =]

No, instead she says something about whoever it is you're currently romancing.   See above, my comment about her comment about Jack, if Shepard is romancing her, for example.

What words was she choking on? We don't know. That leaves a lot of room to interpretation, and honestly maybe she can't  believe what she just said.
