Im crossing my fingers for an announcement of something before my birthday, but more realistically we will wait until around E3. So late June...not THAT far away.

I'm not saying Liara has feelings for Feron that originate from Feron.  They are feelings that originate from Shepard and have now been displaced onto Feron since Shepard's body has been found and is dead.  Whatever these feelings are, friendship or love, the things that drove her to search for Shepard didn't go away when she found the Commander...they moved over to Feron. 

Liara might not realize this and confuse the feelings for something else, something deeper for Feron.   That's why she's all       when Shepard returns.  This is all B.S. coming from my keyboard though

Seriously... we need to clam (sic ) down a lot.  We all freaked at the capsule, I cried, and then I read the line, and it made sense to me.  Not a good comic, and they probably lost my money for the TPB... hell, I can't even guarantee that, though they have to learn a lesson about promising and not delivering.  But LiLi kicking ass and doing it all for a friend, then feeling beholden to track down a friend made while saving said friend... that's not a bad story to tell.  It just needs expanding and ... talent .

Right, she is obviously torn and confused, and could (as you suggest) be doing a lot of projecting. Poor Liara needs a big ol' hug from the real Shep!

As is your right.  Still ... after thinking about this rationally, I think I may actually like this story... though it's so bloody limited by the medium and having to fit every possible Shepard.

To make it clear, I'm gonna stick by Liara and see what turns out. My Shepards will stay faithful. I didn't even flirt with Kelly or Samara, or do the Consort in ME1....that's how faithful I was. I can't say the same for my Ashley romance character.

Liara is hurting and confused, she had a lot to deal with, and her emotions have been all over the place. She needs a some understanding, faith, love, and comfort...so she can figure out for herself how she feels. She is worth that, and more...I'm willing to give it to her, whatever she needs...I'm just upset we can't do that on Illium...and I'm hurt that Liara lets Shepard go in the comic, tells us in game she didn't, but then lets Shepard go off to die again, without a word.

You could even say that Liara seems to be socially isolated (with the exception of what is necessary for her work, a controlled environment) and has been for the last two years.  Maybe if she has been sublimating some of her feelings for Shepard and her feelings for everything that happened in recovering the body, then seeing and interacting with Shepard again in ME2 will start to ground her again.  I do think she has definitely isolated herself no matter what else is going on.
Coming back to her in any DLC could be a chance for her to come out that self-imposed shell some more and get back to participating in real events alongside Shepard.  A chance to move past what happened two years ago.  Shepard has those scars on their face, Liara's might not be visible.  I just hope we can get a chance to heal them for her.

At least Liara and Sheps relationship was aknowledged by Kasumi. This implicates in the very least that the devs have taken notice of the lackluster reviews by the fans in regards to the LIs. It is on their mind, and perhaps at this very moment they are producing dlc or an expansion to address all of the problems.

Too bad that I don't buy the Kasumi DLC after recent disappointments. I know it doesn't change a thing since they're still going to make a small fortune with it, but now more than ever it's a matter of principle for me.

I totally agree.  Liara has no friends..she even says this.  She's not in a happy place right now.  I just want to know why??

She might be frightened by the whole situation with Shepard/Cerberus and tries to hide from it instead of facing it and facing Shepard. Thus, she pushes Shepard and the mission away.
