As much as I'd like to, we can't ignore the information presented to us in the comics.  That's like plugging your ears and screaming real loud when someone says something you don't want to hear.  The plot content therein is canonical, no matter how stupid and contradictory it all may be.

I feel dirty, as if I'm defending Mac Walters :unsure:

But seriously people. No Liara love for Feron. You need to listen to what she says in ME1, analyse a little deeper, and basiaclly stop being so paranoid and worrying!

Yep, I just think the comics Liara only superficially resembles anything to do with the game Liara.  And it has been like that since Redemption 1.  Everything Liara says to you in her romance is pretty powerful and meaningful stuff.  The whole of ME2 is just full of contrived situations without much exposition.  The comics are even more constrained, both because of the pyhsical medium, and because there can never be your Shepard or your Liara involved in those.
About the only thing we learned really is that ME2 is pretty confusing on it's own.  Just have to hope that is expanded on for really all the ME1 LI's in future content.

The plot presented is canonical, but any motives, scripts or dialogue that deviates or contradicts what is shown in the source material can be discarded, in my opinion. The presentation in Redemption is so poor that it's hard to take it seriously, and you can't really apply it in the context of the story presented in-game.

Seriously ... okay, I sent a PM with this, but I'll rephrase it.  I agree with everyone's right to say what they think -- Voltaire said it best:

Voltaire wrote... a long time ago...
I agree with not a word you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.


But personally, I think that people who are seeing the most negative interpretation aren't seeing it all.  That's not a fact, that's my opinion.  (And yes, I would take a bullet for york's or frij's or sc's posts regardless.  I'm so totally not kidding, by the way.)
