I think we may have to go Star Wars on this, sadly.  (As in, they have Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary canon.  I think it's G-canon for the movies, C-canon for the books, S-canon for many comics.)  So we should have:

• G-Canon -- for the games.  Anything in here, when in conflict, supersedes --
• N-Canon -- for the novels.  Anything in here, when in conflict, supersedes --
• C-Canon, for the comics.

Its so hard to know what the writers are thinking and intend. I hope we see some hints of new STORY DLC in the future as while the last ones, especially Kasumi, were cool, I'd like to see whats on the horizon for the ME world..

On the whole Shadow Broker talking through the Collector thing. I think what is actually happening there is just an aspect of the Collectors being all networked together through the Collector General.

So the Shadow Broker gets in contact with Collecter A somehow, who then relays that information to the Collector General, who then relays it to Collector B who is standing there by Tazzik.
