Honestly I'm not worried if she's a squadie so much, just so long as at the end of ME3, she's by my side. That works out well. I have no idea what they have planned for ME3 squadmates, and I'm not getting my hopes up on all my favorites. I really hope they don't introduce new people though. There's enough already.

I think there will likely be at least one or two new faces (maybe old faces from ME 2 we COULDN'T recruit).  I am really not interested in a big new squad though.  We've all grown attached to who we have already...

I have no doubt she will be.  All ME1 LIs will be squaddies and we will have to re-romance them.  I will eat glass if this does not happen.  That's how sure I am of this.

I don't know if Aria is Liara's other parent, but it would be:



1) Totally cool

2) Clever of them to introduce it by designing their ME2 roles in parallel and giving us little hints that they have some personality traits in common (strength of character, independence, determination, etc.)

How badass would it be to have her two parents be Benezia and Aria? That's some hereditary badassitude right there.

It would mean some of the thoughts my Shep have been having about Aria would turn out to be quite disturbing.

You'd think that would have more weight...considering merchants charge you full price and no one believes you though, its a rough new day.

I mean, we've got (assuming everybody survived the suicide mission, and ME1 besides the virmire victim) Garrus, Tali, Wrex, Liara, Kaidan/Ashley from the first crew, Thane, Jack, Miranda, Mordin, Jacob, Samara, Legion, Zaeed, Kasumi, and again, Garrus and Tali. To add another dozen squadmates would seem like a bit much.

ME3 is supposed to be a continuation of this "epic space opera" that we've been enjoying, not a standalone piece of garbage with some new faces and shallow old relationships that were seemingly abandoned.

But if the evil empire that is EA is controlling things, we may end up with just that. D:

Yeah, Shepard is pretty much a 21st Century Kirk.  Rank has no meaning to him (or her).

all please calm down and think POSITIVE ONLY. THAT'S OUR ONLY HOPE TO THINK ABOUT LIARA AND ME AND STAY SANE IN LONGER PERSPECTIVE:)
