FemShep/Liara is indeed awesome. They're incredibly cute together, and I love the dynamic of the relationship!

Agree 100%

Too much femshep propaganda in here.<_<

Let the femsheppers have their fun. I'm sure there's plenty of malesheps out there. I'm one of them.

We are very few here I am afraid. Many that were with us have converted.:(

I think part of it is seen as Liara being attracted to someone more like her who, while having feminine characteristics, is also a very strong-willed and good example of leadership (like Elizabeth I).

For me, part of it is being raised around women my whole life and seeing how weak men can be Image IPB
In that sense I have a harder time fitting my view into a lead male character.  Lead females also have a strong history in Sci-Fi...look at James Cameron who ALWAYS has a strong female in the lead of his films.

Yeah screw I'm in the exact same boat. Raised by women and I have little respect for most men I meet. They're all so damned, what's the word I'm looking for. Can't really think of it. Either way, I have a hard time relating to the average guy.

Difference being though is that Sarah Connor in Terminator 2 has been completed warped away from her original personality. There's very little left of the Terminator 1 Sarah left there.

Liara on the other hand is still very much the same under that facade, just suffering terribly and unable to cope with her grief, guilt and sorrow.

Dads these days need to take care of their damn kids.  At least Shepard will never bail on his offspring...

Haha, I agree. It's pretty sad when the guy we mention that would actually not bail on his kids is a fictional character.

Another strong female lead was Ripley in Aliens. Nuke the planet from orbit...just to be sure.

Except Liara will give him a biotic beatdown.

If its a Fem-Shep you won't have that problem Image IPB

Ripley was the sh_t!  Hey, there's another franchise that got completely trashed.  But at least we got two good installments of Alien before it went in the crapper.  ME only got one.

Well it will be weird for a woman not to give birth to her own kids. Who knows how she will react:P

No trolling from Liara fans! It has no constructive purpose at all!

Besides, I like to think Liara fans are better than that. :D

We do a damn fine job of diffusing trolls ourselves. I've even seen outsiders comment on it before. It's pretty sweet. :)

That is odd. What will they call Fem-Shep? Dad, I guess. The other partner in an asari relationship is always the "father".

Talk about awkward conversations for your kids. You have to explain same sex relationships as well as asari-human relationships. Birds and the bees folks...

Haha we are, I was being sarcastic. Referring to some of the less classy members of those other fan threads. :innocent:

There's decent male shep art out there. Ive seen it in the ME1/2 meme challenges. Vanderloo Shep does nothing for me. Hehe, I saved that pic to my HD. Hmm, possible Kai/Ash commission at some point?
