I would pay a premium price to get a DLC that puts the relationship with Liara back on track. Of course I am not exactly poor or living from paycheck to paycheck either so I understand that many would not want or even be able to pay that much. I'm just saying for me is all and agreeing with you in so many words.

I'd pay just about any price they would ask for, for that. I can afford it too, but others can't.

This is also true, I'm practically hoping for having it both ways -- seven dollar mission with good missions and good conversation but just Ali, Jen, and Macintalk -- er, I mean Mark, to save on production time, and large-portion-of-a-theoretical expansion pack (that's DA:A price, DA:A size, but has some romance content for everyone).

Oh, and remind me to respond appropriately whenever anyone calls it an 'xpac'.

Yeah, honestly it was a bit weird the other day that I seemed to be Miss Sunshine.
Lots of times I seem to disagree with the "Happy" theme. Explaining why I think Liara's father would be best off dead, that any living father would be an ass. Explaining why Liara could not have a secret love child without being a moron and morally reprehensible. Or just generally boring the majority of the thread when I start going on about genetics or physiology.
Still, like I said before, the comics didn't really affect what I thought. It was mostly just, "Huh, the comics suck after all. Oh well."

I agree about Liara's father being better off dead. But I would really like there to be a love child out there somewhere. I really wanted Shepard and Liara to have a daughter from the night before Ilos.

See... this is always what I have said. They were together a month or six weeks before Shepard died. How do we know they did not make a decision to have a child during that time. It would account in part for her doing so much to try and get his body back and her emotion in the meeting on Illum. Of course she is not going to tell him about a child becuase there is a good chance he won't come back alive from the Collector mission. I can't remember exactly what she says ingame because I'm at work... but there were some other tidbits that she says that did not jive with simply wanting to save Feron.

Anyway... just my ywo cents and it wouldn;t surprise me in the least if something of this nature takes place. But then again... knowing Bioware... it's probably a pipe dream to what they have planned.

Yea, we can dream, but it isn't going to happen, knowing BioWare.

Maybe you were a wrestling fan before or after I was into it.

At the same time, more or less, actually.  Now I'm actively praying for Mick Foley to follow Rock and Steve out of the business.  And Shawn Michaels if he's really serious about retiring for real.  But for a while, it was ... magic :P.

So it seems the thread is back on track, and here we are, waiting again, for more information. Atleast we aren't attacking each other now, and we seemed to have focused that rage back to BioWare. Sad we lost some people on the way though.

Haha, good stuff. I remember Mick Foley when he was Mankind. I miss socko to this day :crying:

Anywho, I don't want to derail the Liara thread much longer so I'll post a picture of the BBG!

Best of all we're posting pics again, and nobody is overly pessimistic. I'm glad to see it.

Actually after blowing off Liara's hacking quest for so long she basically says the reason she doesn't up and leave is she needs "that data" which we all know now leads to the SB, eventually. I am sure that has been discussed, but it surprised me to hear that so upfront.

I just hope that if you botch the second quest and send her after the wrong person, she doesn't die from that. I'd hate to see all the damned trolls come out in force posting the "Liara death" in the future. I'd kick them all in the quad.

I posted this lastnight, but it needs to be posted again. I say we march on BioWare if they don't fix Liara/Shepard in a DLC sometime soon.

Anyway, to get back on track... wait, it was on track and I replied to this -- someone post more Liara goodness!

Well, I'm off for the night, back to feeling sad about Liara.
