Yeah, that's the Redemption graphic novel.  I have it pre-ordered, but I'm probably going to cancel it.

Graphic novels sometimes have "exclusive" content, though.  Maybe they will write an epilogue to fix the damage issue 4 made.  Probably not, but there's always a chance.

Ooh behind the scenes sketches, now we can see how to draw Liara like a pro! /sarcasm

I'd wait until it's released, I doubt you'll have trouble getting hold of a copy if it did turn out to have an improved epilogue.

A wise approach. And even if sold out, new prints will be available sooner or later. Basic principle of capitalism.

I haven't completely read redemption yet because I was waiting for #4 to come out. so I didn't read to much of what you linked to

Mine got the red ring right before DA came out. I also needed to play ME1 again before ME2 came out. I shipped off my Xbox for repair and then bought another one the next day.

On the plus side I now have 2 Xboxes.

guys just want to share an idea I can see happening in the 3rd game if you look at the start of 2 where you order your LI to get off the ship before you die anyone else thinking we could see us having to sacrifice ourselves to beat the reapers and the LI you are not leaving me this time and goes with you



I just dont see a happy ending of shepard and liara or who ever living happy ever after

An ending where Shepard has to make the big sacrifice is something I fear too. It seems almost too convenient for BioWare/EA to let it pass. No worries about "wasting" time on different endings, no worries about any canon for future titles. Letting the LI go too would seem logical from that standpoint. I probably wouldn't buy the game if such was the only possible ending, but the masses would, no illusions there. (Maybe they'd provide one different ending, for Shepards who romanced Tali, just to be safe.)

Mass Effect is all about choices, is what BW always says. I don't think BW would put in only one possible ending. That would just be **** and BW has to know that.

Morning everybody, I said I'd check back today and I did. And I was very glad to see that people were joking before In hind sight, the extremity of some of the things said shoud have tipped me off, I blame it on not being able to read tone-of-voice in text.

So yeah, I'm back and won't be leaving my favorite thread. And since this thread didn't sink to the low I thought it had last night (and since Les used the word "facetious") I think I'll post the latest WIP preview image for my current artowork.



Now this is still an early Work In Progress image, I'm really easing this piece along, I want it to be as good as it can. The colors for Liara's crest alone takes up six layers and I'm still not quite done with it. And do not fear; I do have a background laid out. Granted, it's not the most original of backgrounds, but it's better than those little gray boxes.

Oh yeah, and thanks to that little discussion a little bit back, now I'm imagining Liara and Shepard coming out on a tank, in full Degeneration-X attire. Shepard would be Triple H and Liara would be Shawn Micheals, y'know, with the hat. Especially the hat.
