I see your in the same situation as me, can't find the will and motivation to play ME2 as it is now.
You have some interesting ideas there and I would not mind if they did something like that, that would be the "troubled relationship" they claim is in the game. Well time will tell if the ME2 team have any sense and writing skill to surprise us with.
Yeah, I just can't find any reason to play it, it has nothing at all to do with my Shepard nor his story. Guess if we wait two more years, again, maybe we'll finally get something relevant that I can count as a sequel to ME1. I'm hopeful that there is an expansion that solves this problem before then, but honestly, I'm not holding out hope for it. I'll wait and see the forum reaction to it once/if it is out.
when/if dlc will be out [i vote for when is more likely thou] i will get & play no matter how good it will be, as doing anything Liara-related is better than just sitting in tornament of Liara-lacking?
did i say this? is it starting to grow into fanatic-Liara-addicition? lol
I would get it no matter what as well.
From a realisitc perspective, we may not get everything we want in Liara DLC, but BioWare would most likey fix most of our concerns.
I am sure we will, at the very least, get an emotional scene between Liara and Shepard that continues the romance and a paragon/renegade option that decides what type of person Liara will become.
In my opinion (and everyone else's), an emotional continuation of the romance is the most important part for BioWare to focus on, I am sure they do realize this and will do what they should have done in the first place.
Since a Liara expansion would only appeal to people who love Liara and ME1 fans, they have no reason to focus on the shooting aspect of the DLC. I would think that BioWare would mainly focus on creating a deep and emotional story between Shepard and Liara.
I don't think there is any other type of Liara addiction but complete fanatical utter love for her
