Oh and AndroLeonidas, please do conintue writing, I ran outa stuff to read and as yo ucan tell, beating my head in.
Oh I will...!!!
I will toot my horn just this once. I have an original Sci-fi/Fantasy novel going now. I'm on Book Four with that and Book Five to begin shortly. It's rather graphic in all aspects so unless you are ok with that I wouldn't check it out. My Yahoo group has all the chapters up to all the books. I made my own language for the story, got a friend who designed most of the ships and made a three minute video introducing one class, another who found a lot of the weapons and clothes for me. And I have pictures of all the characters up as well. Been at this project for near five years now and it's still going strong.
Anyway... will probably continue with the liara story as soon as Book four is done. a couple of weeks more than likely.
I very much enjoy your stories as well. I have been slow working on my latest one as I kind of built it up as very cute and Jane Austen like...and its taking a turn for a downer a bit and Im not sure how to handle that lol:devil:

Also, do any other femshep players think it's cute that Liara is taller than Shepard? hehe
Liara is taller than my maleshep. She seems to be physically massive in ME2 either way.

I wonder when the mods read this thread and realize how small but fanatical a player base Liara has. We were the most trod upon fans yet we still cling to this character despite how so many have probably bailed. Hopefully the reward is worth it...
We may only have a small group of vocal fans, but we have a bigger base of fans then alot of the other characters. Check the numbers of the fan clubs. Last I looked, we have more members then both Ashley and Kaidan put together. It's worth pointing out that Liara is the most popular of the ME1 LIs. And she has more fans then most of the ME2 LIs.

EDIT: Maybe there's a reason we haven't seen any Asari children of a Human/Asari pairing...

the faithful shall be rewarded! but in all honesty, is a moot point except to us, by time they do come out with some expansion or DLC for the romances or continue them, most everyone will have a buncha of LI saved files and then bounce back in here cause Liara's will be so awesome.
ok banging head some more

Liara fans seem to reflect this in that she seems to have the best fanfics, at least imo. Ive read some for a few different characters and the ones having to do with liara are definitely the best written, one of screwoffreg's even made me cry, which i dont do often

First Contact for humanity was in 2157 and ME2 is set in 2185. Since asari don't hit their version of puberty until around a bit before 40 any of them would still be children despite the earliest being in their mid 20's. So I don't think we've seen any for that reason, that they would still be children and no children are in the game.yorkj86 wrote...

Liara's romance plot seems a lot deeper than the other characters, the mind joining thing seems pretty intense and its hard to consider the other LI's when you consider what liara went through to recover shepard's body.

I agree, the Liara/Shep fanfic's are awesome, but I really gota say Metal-Dragon's Miranda/Jack pairing is hilarous

I'd venture to say they keep the mini (real young) Asari close to home, I'd think they'd have problems with baby Biotics without control or training anyway.

I agree with everything you said. I like Liara's fanfics the best, though I'm probably biased.
Shepard and Liara shared an intimate bond that was deeper than just sex plus Liara risks her life just to get Shepard's dead body. These things sow the seeds for some good romance. I think what makes it more special is the fact that this is Liara's first relationship and possibly even Shepards (it is for mine).

You were hinting that we haven't seen any, because they didn't want to setup a baseline to judge what they look like, thus allowing them to show a daughter from Liara and Shepard...meaning if it doesn't look like "your" Shepard, BioWare can simply say. "That's just what a daughter from an Asari and a Human looks like."
Am I right?

An Asari/Krogan or Asari/Salarain or a Asari/Battarian are basicly all the same looking, maybe more or less markings on their "waves", why would a human be any different?

Yes, but not so much the last part, though I suppose that that's implied.

A child from an Asari/Human pairing could have some distinctive features, which is where Bioware can get creative.
Bioware...creative...I made myself laugh.
