I have the same thing, ME1 runs great. ME2 is what I worry about so I am still deciding on whether or not to get it.

For a laptop, mine is quite powerful, well it was 2 years ago when I bought it. I don't know if my card holds up to what's on the market these days, but then again ME2 runs on a 360 and my laptop can outperform one. It ran wow at a solid 30fps in dalaran without lag. I've just been worried that the ME2 for PC requires more juice. I notice how much better the screens look from a PC over the 360 and that makes me wonder how much more powerful the graphics are.

Well your laptop will run ME1 with ease then. I am pretty sure my pc can run ME2 just not on the highest settings.
Still, Im sure it will look better then it does on the 360. ME1 definitely does for me.

Yeah this thing is amazingly fast. I love it. I can't live without them anymore. It did cost an extra 300 bucks and it's only 120GB though. I just attach a 1TB external for storage. :)

I actually upgraded my computer for wow, but i recently kicked the habit (though staying away is getting harder now that blizzard is releasing info on cata changes) so having nice games helps justify the 450ish dollar investment. I actually didnt notice too much of a change in graphics and what i did i mostly attributed to my LCD monitor versus my ****ty TV.

Other than the graphics getting used to the controls was awkward for a while, especially the Q and E being used to control your squadmates, when in other PC games im used to (grr @ wow) its for strafing

Well, don't drink two mixed drinks in a row or EDI will tell you that you're in the wrong batheroom.  =]

Well you see ME2 on 360 looks decent on my TV. I have a 46inch running at 1080p if a game supports it. ME2 only runs at 720p or something along those lines, but it still looks good. I'd want the PC version for modding though. And better controls. Joysticks don't do justice like a mouse and keyboard.

That's the reason why my Shepards all get completely wasted with the Normandy's bar. They're all missing Liara so much, as I am. :-(

I've been having problems with ME1 crashing on my PC lately. I think it's Windows 7, since I didn't have this problem before I installed it. Other then ME1 though, Windows 7 is much better for gaming.

I built this PC back when I raiding end game in WoW, used to run everything max settings and have 75fps or so in full raids and pvp. I left WoW for Aion and ran that at like 120fps at max settings in some crazy world pvp. Have been upgrading it once in awhile for the last couple years.

ME2 runs great and it has never crashed on me yet, but ME1 does from time to time. It gets stuck when you're talking to people, the wheel will just freeze up and you have to tab out and close it down.

I don't have a console but I've been thinking about getting one, I'm not sure if I want to now. Does the 360 fail that often? Are the graphics not better or atleast the same?

Depends on your TV. I'm running an HDTV with HDMI and my graphics look comparable to screenshots from the PC. The PC has a slight edge, but not by much. As for the console dying, it's hit or miss. Mine hasn't died yet, but I hear stories about it all the freakin time.

Wouldn't an option to go talk with Samara about Liara have been really cool? It would've been nice to have Shepard ask for advice about these young asari maidens, and for perhaps Samara to give us some insight into just what Liara is going through.

I love it when my FemShep is missing drinks, and all of a sudden, EDI chimes in saying that the women's bathrooms are on the other side. lol.

Oh, sorry for the OT-ness..

Yeah I have a 36 inch lcd with 720p so it still looks great. Id just like ME2 on pc though.

Almost all 360 games run at 720p anyways.

I dont think you have to worry too much about 360 fail anymore, if u buy the elite model. I replaced my bricked xbox with the elite, but i havent really played it much yet, planning on getting ff13 when ME2 stops being fun to play.

In terms of graphics i think its more about what kind of TV you have, but the elite is supposed to be able to support HD better. One thing that pissed me off was that it didnt come with HD av cables so when i went to hook it up to my good TV for guitar hero i found it lacking them just in time to disappoint at a party

Solid state hard drives have no moving parts. Because of this they run on less energy. They generate less heat because there's no friction. There's no needle reading the platters inside of a regular drive (much like a record player) so data transfer is much much faster. No matter where in the drive the data is stored, it's all the same speed. No seek times.  You can pull stuff up on the PC and load stuff much faster than a regular hard drive. I used to load Dalaran on my laptop in WoW back in the day in 5 seconds or less on a populated server. It was nuts.

Ahh yes good point. You need the 360 elite for all the good video support. That's what I bought, and HDMI cables make games look awesome.
